Stunning property with all the mod conveniences needed for a special time away including large decks, BBQ, cozy fireplace, peace and quiet, and wonderful views. This renovated Shearer's Quarters has personalised touches everywhere from the original shearers lunch table to seat 12, individually styled rooms with lovely linens and antiques, and a new kitchen complete with coffee machine for those sunny mornings on the deck. A roaring fire or the heat pump will keep you warm in the winter as well.
The space
Go for walks, Drive 15 minutes to the famous Rangitikei River to fish or swim. Go for a ski in neighboring Ohakune only 50 mins away. Shop the second hand stores, gift and outlet shops and cafes in Taihape, or just stay put. Bring a book and light the BBQ and pour the wine. We have wifi, but no cell coverage so take advantage of being disconnected for a bit. Listen to the birds and animals on this working sheep and beef farm; welcome to the Rangitikei countryside.

You will have the whole Quarters to yourselves when you make a booking. We can also point you in the direction of a nice walk on the farm.

The two en-suites are accessed via the outside verandas for four bedrooms. The other two bedrooms are connected to the en-suites directly as well as having an outside door. The bedroom with two king singles now are only normal singles.
