We will be away this weekend and can rent this apt. A very clean and comfortable entire 1 bedroom apartment 1/2 block from the 1,2,3 trains at 73rd street. This is a high rise elevator building with a large living room and nice sized bedroom in the best area on the upper west side. It is 2 blocks from Trader Joe's with plenty of great restaurants, banks, and stores nearby. The 2, 3 trains are 1 stop to 42nd st and 2 stops to 34th st. The apartment also has a desk and small table and 4 chairs.

Great location, super close to the 72nd St, Central Park (and Trader Joes - although be prepared to queue!), great communication with Sheila, appreciated the air conditioning. Had a few plumbing issues with both the sink and the WC becoming blocked during my stay but nothing too …

Response from Sheila:
Thank you for the review. I would like to respond and clear up a few things for future guests considering my apartment or airbnb for a NYC stay. No building in Manhattan that I know of likes short term rentals. I only do it very rarely when I am out of town but also state clearly that the person should say they are guests. Hotels in Manhattan that do not have bedbugs are over 300 a day including taxes at minimum and they are tiny. Peter Paid 149 a night plus a cleaning fee of 70 dollars. There are no hotels I know if in NYC in the summer/fall for that price ever unless they are a total dump or there's a bathroom at the end of a hallway. My price was 1/2 of other airbnb listings in Manhattan. I clearly describe in the ad that the kitchen is a very small kitchenette and that since a full sized refrigerator freezer would not fit in it I asked the building to put one in the living room. This is in the ad and photos. I so have 2 burners, a microwave, full utensils pots and pans, an espresso maker, panini maker, and nutribullet so unless you need an oven you should be fine. We have never had the toilet blocked before but of course things like that can always happen. I was told about the plumbing issues towards the end of the stay and immediately put in a work order and the building fixed it but Peter had already left.

Loved staying there. Even not meeting her in person, she was always in contact with me and made us feel comfortable. The place is cozy and really close to the subway. Also, lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Waking distance to many places like Central Park, National Museum and…

I had a great stay at Sheila’s. She’s a very accommodating, kind, caring and thoughtful host. The apt is in a great location - near restaurants, stores & the train - and I felt safe staying there. The apt is an end unit, so there’s only a neighbor on 1 side of you, so it was pret…

Our stay in Sheila's place was wonderful. Sheila was very easy to communicate with and flexible with our arrival, which was especially appreciated because we arrived during a snowstorm. The apartment's location could not have been better, located just steps away from Broadway and…
