Cozy little cottage - we call it the Hummingbird! All knotty pine walls and ceiling - a nice little kitchen with gas stove/oven. The Lake Store, our general store, is a short walk away for grocery items, ice cream and newspapers. Step back in time and enjoy a nice little vacation spot in the tiny hamlet of Sabael in one of the last wilderness areas in NYState.
There are four rental cottages sharing a beach and boat dock. Your cottage is private, surrounded by 200 year old pines and oak trees - the rest of the property with perennials and annuals in pots.

My husband and I were born on Long Island, NY. and vacationed in the Adirondacks since we were young. Rose is retired now and Bruce & I are now in the hospitality field - renting vacation rental cottages on Indian Lake in the Adirondack Mountains of New York. Bruce loves to garden and the property is loaded with lovely perennial gardens as well as ancient, towering pines. Rose loves to cook, bake and read mysteries and Westerns (love Louis LaMour). We both enjoy the peace and serenity of this wilderness area and love to share all that we know with our guests... the many and varied activities they might enjoy while here...swimming, hiking, boating, movie theater, golfing, fine restaurants, our local general store - even downhill skiing, ice skating, snow mobiling - the list goes on and on...Come....relax....enjoy!
