Cozy bedroom for two located a short walking distance from popular shopping and dining district South Congress (SoCo) and funky S. 1st, and mere minutes from happening downtown. Kitchen privileges, washer dryer, shared bath, parking, too.
Modestly sized fully furnished room that's comfortable, quiet and clean, perfect for two individuals. Queen bed, shared bath. I rent another room in the house so there may be another person or couple (along with me) under the same roof with you :)
Kitchen, living room use, washer and dryer. Deck in the backyard or relax on the front porch.
Interaction with guests
Friendly and cordial with guests but respect privacy.
Other things to note
Wi-Fi included. I have two bicycles I rent for $10 a day (each). Big grocery store around the corner that never closes. I rent another room in the house so there may be another guest staying here along with your stay. Heretofore, this has never proven to be a problem. Hablo español.
Just a few rules (common decorum primarily): 1 - only the number of guests booked can stay the night, and 2 - the house can't be the party place. The neighborhood is laid back (so am I!), but reasonable hours (anytime's fine so long as there's not a big hullabaloo) for coming and going and socializing, especially on the front porch or backyard deck, should be most respectful of neighbors. No smoking inside, please. And oh, yeah, please be kind to the place, it's my home sweet home :)
Attention musician’s and audiophiles.
If you play an instrument, or like to listen to music on the high side, there will likely be other people in the house, so please ask yourself the following should you decide to “play":
Am I keeping anyone awake? (guests very likely will be asleep at a reasonable hour)
Am I waking anyone up? (if you should decide to practice your guitar at the crack of dawn)
Am I bugging anyone with my playing at any time of the day? (Just ask)
It goes without saying that a good nights sleep, and sleeping-in are a premium for most guests and the above has seldom been a problem.
