Nestled in the Kawakawa Bay valley, less than a kilometre from the beach, Sticky Beak Creek is a picturesque two acre property with a native bush clad stream (creek) winding through, orchards and three paddocks that surround the house where sheep and Tina the miniature horse live. There are also free ranging ducks and chickens.
The property is solar powered and the house water supply is rainwater.
There are two rooms available; twin share with two beds and a larger room with a queen size bed.

The space
This room is medium sized with one king single and one single bed, book shelf and double wardrobe.
It has pretty rural views.

Where you’ll be

Auckland, New Zealand

Kawakawa Bay has two main beaches seperated by Whitford Point with a wide expanse looking out to the islands of Chamberlins and Waiheke. The water is shallow making it a safe swimming beach. There's plenty of parking along the beach front and at Whitford Point Reserve.
Further along Coast Rd, past the boat ramps (where there's also a bait and tackle shop), are other pretty beaches and further around the headland, at the end of the road, is the secluded, deep water beach of Waiti Bay. From here, at low tide you can hike around the rocks and over the bush track to the beautiful Tawhitakino Beach Reserve.
