Julie's house is situated in the middle of an apple orchard, with cows all around. The grounds are well-maintained, with lovely flowers We stayed there for a week and were quite content. our two children enjoyed the garden and the cows. We had an issue with plumbing and Julie took care of it immediately. I recommend it for families looking for a tranquil setting.

Perfect place to stay for a couple with 2 small children (ours were 2,5 yrs & 8 mths), house was equiped with everything you need for small kids. We appriciated good quality heating (and fireplace!) and were warm inside even during -10°C nights (we stayed 1 week around New Year's Eve). Julie and Maryline replied within seconds on our requests and welcomed us with home-made cidre, jam and a great basket of local fine food samples: delicious! The place is very safe for small kids, in and outside the house, in the middle of several farms with many animals (kids enjoyed!!). Perfect location: 10 to 30 mins drive to discover the Normandy's best of: Sea-side, nice harbours, farms, small beautiful villages, nature walks and panoramas around the Seine river. For grocery shopping, there is a huge supermarket open from 9am to 7pm just 2 mins ride. Things to be aware of: You have to pass through the twin room to access the room with the double bed (no problem with kids, but might be a problem if you are only adults). The house and the area are perfecly quiet, but one can hear the close highway when outside. It's not disturbing, but you notice it. We really enjoyed our stay and can imagine to come back again!

We had a warmly welcome by the host with the fireplace burning and on the table a delicious apple cake and juice. The cottage had all the equipment needed and everything felt very clean and fresh. The setting of the cottage is beautiful with appletrees and fields. We definitely recommend this place.

We had a great stay in the cottage. It is very cosy and beautifully located, just outside the village. If you are looking for a quit and peaceful setting, then this is the place to be. Our little girl enjoyed the cows in the surrounding meadow very much. A supermarket is located nearby as well are the main roads, offering easy access to all tourist attractions.

We had a lovely stay, starting with a warm welcome from Julie and her mum who explained where to eat locally and gave us homemade cider, apple jam and local biscuits. Les Pommier's immediate setting is great - seemingly rural with hardly any visible neighbours and surrounded by apple trees and grazing cows (fenced off of course)... and yet it is only a 2 minute drive to a big supermarket and five minutes to beuzeville which has several boulangeries plus restaurants, butcher, epiceries etc. The only slight gripe for us was that you are actually located within hearing distance of a motorway, which we hadn't realised... This detracted a little from the otherwise idyllic spot.

The perfect place for relaxing holidays. It's so beautiful and calm. The house has everything we needed and it was in the evening very cosy at the fireplace. Julie's partents, who were welcoming us, were such lovely and nice people. Thank you so much!

Julie welcomed us personally upon arrival and had already lit the fireplace in her lovely cottage to make us feel at home. The cottage is set in a secluded location amidst apple trees and baby cows. It is situated 15m from the Cote Fleurie and is a great base to explore Normandy from. We had a great week here with our two young children. Julie and her family are very welcoming people, and they showed us around on their cow farm.
