About this listing
Private oasis in the trees with own sit-out deck and bay view. Best block Duboce Triangle. Flooded with light. Fully equipped with tableware, kitchen equipment and all linens and towels. Wireless internet, housekeeper and all utilities included.
The Studio is a completely independent apartment. It is so private and quiet and green—and yet the house is just moments to shops, restaurants and transportation
**note: AVAILABLE FOR STAYS OF 30 DAYS OR MORE ONLY. $2,500 refundable deposit required, payable in accordance with current AirBnB guidelines outside the AirBnB system; please therefore on your initial contact to request or discuss a reservation choose “Yes” when asked if the host can call you about the reservation; this option is presented when contacting a host for the first time via the "Contact Me" button. Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you! Peter
Access to private deck and zen patio garden
Interaction with guests
Guests have their own entrance (and door buzzer) and are entirely independent, with the garden the only communal space. I live on the same property in another unit—and it's my pleasure to share an occasional glass of wine in the evening
Other things to note
The Studio is furnished with antiques and its own library.
*** Note: "Upscale Treehouse Studio Cabin" is an entire apartment; reviews below are for my other AirBnB listings, one of which ("Downton Abbey in Duboce Triangle") is for a private room in the owner's unit
The entire property, including deck and garden, is a nonsmoking area. Pets are not allowed. Extra guests are not allowed. Guests are asked to respect the quiet character of the neighborhood

I'm a marriage and family therapist and educator currently writing a book about psychotherapy. I'm equally at home in Palma de Mallorca, Edinburgh, San Francisco and London. My main listing on AirBnB is the self-contained Georgian Flat in Edinburgh's New Town. I value tangible links with the past and have enjoyed myself furnishing it with period items so as to step back in time…
