The villa has a private loggia fully equipped with a stone barbecue and a wooden table with four comfortable straw-bottomed chairs. The loggia is also provided with two external speakers to listen to music while having meals al fresco.
The ground floor lounge has direct access both to the garden and to the loggia making the best of the indoor and the outdoor life at the same time. Entering the lounge from the garden there is, on the right hand side, a modern fireplace with an elegant sofa in front of it.
From the sofa there is a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside through the large door that overlooks the garden.

On the opposite side of the room there is a very tasteful kitchen with a window above the workspace and a dining area with a wooden table that seats four. The kitchen includes a large modern fridge/freezer, stove with gas hobs, oven and a dishwasher.

Next to the kitchen a staircase leads to the first floor where there is a spacious and unique double bedroom with the traditional Tuscan wooden beamed ceiling and a second tastefully furnished en-suite bathroom with tub.

The bedroom has a romantic fireplace and an original built-in wardrobe. A washing machine is located on one side of the wardrobe. There are two armchairs just close to the door leading to the private terrace.

If you want a bigger supermarket, you need to drive to the next towns Arcidosso and Castel del Piano (11km’s) The best supermarket is the Co-Op in Arcidosso which is signposted.

From the minute we made the booking Holger was exceptional. Even with some confusion over the price, Holger honoured the lower price which was very kind. The house is set an a beautiful Tuscan hillside amongst other converted farm buildings, with breathtaking views. The Shared pool was large enough to accommodate several families and was clean. Enrico the friendly concierge there to introduce you and always on hand to help and give you tips on what to see. The neearest town with shops Arcadosso has 2 good supermarkets and several restaurants as well as the all important Gelato cafes. The house itself was the envy of everybody staying on the hamlet, comfort and facilities are first rate. Holger you should be very proud. We'll definitely be coming back one day. Thank you Holger

We had the most wonderful stay at the house. We were greeted by Enrico on arrival, who was incredibly helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. The house itself is a joy to stay in. We had 2 children with us, so spent most evenings in, but it was such a pleasure to cook in the kitchen and play cards in the evening sun that we didn't actually want to be anywhere else! I was a bit worried about the heat and no air con, but all the rooms have incredibly effective ceiling fans and the all the windows have a bug screen, so you can let cool air in without the mosquitos! The other people staying in houses on site were lovely and it was great getting recommendations from them as to where to visit. The house is a fantastic base from which to visit the area and we saw some of the most stunning villages and towns. The pool was lovely and well maintained. There were a few wasps and bugs by the side, but nothing that isn't expected when staying in a mountainous area, and they got out your way when walking past. We weren't bothered by them at all at meal times. Our stay felt very much like staying in a 4/5* hotel, especially with the wonderful interiour, so we would not hesitate to book again and highly recommend Holgar's property to others.

Response from Holger:
