Guest access
Easy check-in. Late arrival is no problem with keyless entry. Enjoy the private cottage, porches and 5+ acres of walking trails under a canopy of trees. Flat entrance and floor plan. Cottage is at the end of flat, paved/gravel lane in the woods. County roads are well-maintained year round.

Other things to note
Areas are mowed around the Cottage. Country living comes with the possibility of reptiles and critters that co-exist in the woods so guests should be aware and take care when around rocks or walking through the woods. Guests are asked to keep all food and garbage inside the Cottage when absent. Host will take care of garbage removal when requested and at the end of the visit.

Although host sprays for pests, we endeavor to keep the area as eco-friendly as possible. In the summer, guests may see spiders, ticks, and other insects and may experience chiggers.

Please notify hosts if there is a need for spray or pest removal.

Host’s dogs are inside/outside pets in a secured, fenced area away from the Cottage.

Honey bees are present and located on the side of host’s residence which is a distance from both rentals.

Hiking is available on acreage surrounding the Cottage. Children are only permitted to hike on the property with an adult.

Guns and other weapons are not permitted without pre-approval.

Host is not liable for any accidents during the visit.

We LOVE hospitality! My husband and I love community, campfires, entertaining, making new friends and learning about different cultures around the country and the world. Our love for travel is now finding more pleasure in letting the world come to us. Hosting is very exciting as we know this area well and are great resources for visitor information. Cookeville is a delightful city that has so much to see and do (without all the traffic of touristy areas).! We just love helping guests find their way around our area parks, golf courses, rivers & streams, shopping, pubs and eateries.. My husband is an avid fly fisherman and knows a lot of great fishing holes. I am in the hospitality business at a local venue with retirement on the horizon. Whether you are visiting or relocating, you will enjoy the small town feel of Cookeville yet appreciate that we are in Tennessee's top ten fastest growing micropolitan areas. Cookeville is midway of Knoxville & Nashville. We are a "wine, stein & shine" community too! Come and enjoy our Tin Cottage or Cedar Cabin in the woods, listen to the birds, hike the trail down to the creek bed, relax by the campfire or just curl up with that book you have been meaning to finish. The place is yours and we are close by to assist if you need us. Happy travels!! Thank you for choosing Falling Water Cottages for your stay in Cookeville! Debi & Ralph
