This was a beautiful property in a great location however we were not satisfied with the cleanliness.

We have stayed at the cottages twice now, both times have been an amazing experience! We highly recommend the Island Guest House cottages!

The house is a perfect getaway for two with a small dog. Didn't have a complaint with the house features or the housewares provided. Looking forward to going back in the future!

This was a really cute spot in Manteo and we truly enjoyed the stay. We were supposed to be in Ocracoke but due to the power outage we piece-mealed what we could to enjoy our stay in OBX. The cottage is attractive, sleek design, and tucked in a quaint little neighborhood that's an easy walk into town. Everything you need is there. The shower was great, although the jacuzzi did not work. The wifi was bad, but we knew that going in and were able to use a phone as a hotspot. The television picture didn't come through, but that didn't matter to us enough to alert anyone so it wasn't a big deal. It was a little pricey, but like I said, it was a last minute find for us so we were ok with that. They did offer us an extra free night on the backend, which was fantastic. Overall, a great Manteo find!

Great place to stay, residential neighborhood within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Cute tiny home type cottage with wonderful theming throughout. Towels and linens were old and had holes in them, but the place was clean and had great amenities.

We stayed here for a long weekend and would come back again anytime. We love this cottage and will continue to book it when we return to the Outer Banks. The cottage is adorable, comfortable, and conveniently located. We found it to be priced appropriately for all it offered. Be aware - the place is small but full of lovely amenities and absolutely perfect for two people. It was an easy walk to downtown and an easy drive to lighthouses, beaches, and pretty much any tourist activity. The cottage has a full kitchen if you are interested in cooking, although there is no coffee included - some come prepared! - but there is a bottle of wine. Oh, and there is free coffee in the Island Guest House lobby, which is a quick walk from the cottage. The bed was very comfortable and the attention to detail with the decorating was top notch. The huge tub and rain shower were the icing on a delicious cake. Everyone and everything was great.

The Farrell and Moore families have been vacationing in Eleuthera for over 15 years. In 2004 we decided to purchase a piece of paradise. Our kids who's ages 15 to 32 also have falling in love with this island. So much to explore and always activities for everyone, including surfing ,snorkeling, fishing and just relaxing on a warm night to star gaze and enjoy a island cocktail.

Moore Island Properties, LLC, was founded in 2000 by Sam Moore, a long-time Outer Banks builder/hotelier. Having had success in the hospitality industry with the Island Guest House on Roanoke Island, Sam decided to expand his company into an under served niche of the vacation rental business by offering attractive, intimate, and affordable vacation rentals on idyllic, romantic islands.
