Welcome to our house on NE 28th Ave, Portland's "Restaurant Row."
You'll have your own bedroom and bathroom here, as well as access to our kitchen and common areas.
We're walking distance from some of Portland's best restaurants.
We are the first owners of this house built in 2013. It has been eco-certified by Earth Advantage. Check out the photos.
It's a new house, so it's warm, bright, and everything works. This is a good place for work or play.
Our AirBNB is fully legit and permitted. Our Accessory Short Term Rental Permit from the City of Portland is permit no. (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN)-HO
You'll have your own full bathroom to yourself! There's a desk, a combo scanner/printer, a yoga mat, and little speakers in your room for you to use. We recently upgraded the bed to a queen-size, Tempur-Pedic mattress. You can also use our kitchen and common areas, which we think are pretty baller, and help yourself to tea and toast.
Other features: memory foam mattress, full chest of drawers and closet. Commercial-grade wi-fi, tankless (i.e. endless) hot water, porch and patio. Newer high-efficiency washer/dryer. No TV.
Interaction with guests
We are Portland natives who are happy to share information about our beloved city with visitors. We know where to eat, drink, play, and take yoga classes. We love our home and we tend to be around, a lot, reading books or cooking food.
That said, one of us (me) works from home and you have to leave him (me) alone during "office hours."
Other things to note
We have iPhone and Android phone chargers you can use if you forget yours like we always do.
Smoke only on porch/patio.
***UPDATE: as of 7/1/2015 recreational cannabis use is legal in Portland. We're okay with it. Feel free to take advantage of Portland's latest freedom. Just don't smoke inside the house.***
Also, you will have to take off your shoes in the entryway/mud room.
If you want to invite people over, we ask that you run it by us first.
Please note we have a 12pm check-out time.
