Orchard Cottage is a delightful spacious self contained cottage in a private rural setting up a long drive with stunning mountain and rural views. It sleeps 4 people in 2 bedrooms with own garden, bbq and verandah. Close to Lake Hayes and Arrowtown & 15 minutes to Queenstown.
The space
Sunny open plan kitchen/dining/living with SKY TV and free unlimited UFB wirelessWiFi, private garden behind a hedge and 50m away from the main house, new bbq and verandah. Great heatpump keeps you cosy in winter plus electric heating in bedrooms and bathroom. Modern new bathroom with shower, heating and hairdryer and includes washing machine and dryer with laundry supplies provided. Bedroom 1 has kingsize bed, bedroom 2 has two king single beds. Quality linen and cleaning included. Complimentary dressing gowns and lots of little extras to make this a delightful and memorable stay.

The cottage is on a large country property set well away from the road up a long treelined driveway and very private with lovely rural views of hills and mountains yet only 15 minutes from Queenstown airport and 10 minutes from Coronet Peak Ski-field road. 3 other skifields within easy driving distance. Arrowtown, famous for its autumn colours and gold mining history, many cafes, shops and delightful walks is less than 5 minutes drive and many wineries, restaurants and golf courses are close by. Great walks and cycle tracks are easily accessed from the property. Lake Hayes a 15 minute walk away where you can swim in summer and enjoy the walk/cycleway which circles the lake. Akarua Winery only a 400m walk away.

We love living in this beautiful place surrounded by mountains and working on our property and garden. We are an easy-going couple who have travelled quite a bit and now enjoy hosting guests in our cottage where you can relax after a busy day of sightseeing and activities in a clean, warm and peaceful setting. We are here if you want help, information or just a chat or happy to leave you alone to enjoy the privacy the cottage and its orchard and garden offers.
