Interaction with guests

I will be available to talk on the phone or communicate via email. If I'm away I will appoint someone whom guests can email and who can do any trouble shooting.
I will not be there for check-in or check out but will make arrangements for someone to be there for keys and house tours.

Other things to note

The bedrooms are air-conditioned.
There is a maid service three times a week.
A caretaker lives in a cottage near the property to provide support and security for guests.
I share my dogs with my neighbors to guard our house at night like every house with direct access to the beach in that area. But they are not allowed inside the house and very happy to be outdoors. (They may bark when visitors arrive, but they do not bite).
The bathrooms attached to each bedroom are enclosed but are open to the sky. If you leave the outdoor lights on, it may happen that moths are attracted to the light and land near the towel racks. On a similar note, there are small geckos that live in the roof and sometimes look for food in the high bedroom ceilings. They are harmless. But guests should know that to some extent one is living close to nature.

Fantastic. Supinda's place, Supinda, Robin and all the staff involved with our stay were all utterly brilliant. Location - Although a trusted driver is provided to guests should they wish it (our journey to and from the airport was arranged / even managed, and was completely seamless), we opted to hire a motorcycle for the week (which was also organised by Robin). We found this area of Phuket to be far enough away for a bit of tranquility yet close enough to the main sites in the south. The furthest we travelled was to Patong for a night out, a 40 minute ride, but it was a beautiful journey. The accomodation - stunning, both in terms of layout and view. The place was fully equipped for us to feel completely at home and the team happily obliged in providing us with the extra privacy that we requested. The property is completely private with the only open view being the sea out infront and the islands in the distance. The service - top quality. We've stayed in many holiday rentals before and never has every single detail been completely managed for us like it was with Supinda and her team. Any caveats? - There are dogs on the property. They are all very timid but appear to be there to bark at strangers, something that they do with considerable gusto. Once they recognise you however, they are fine. Should any potential guests be a little nervous of dogs, I'd advise getting in touch with Supinda and Robin as they really are very accomodating. Also, some of the local fishing boats do have very loud, old 2 stroke engines, and can pass by as early as 06:30; if you're a light sleeper and value a later start to the morning, bring ear plugs. Any extra recommendations? - We chartered a fishing boat for a day out of Chalong pier, a 15-20 minute ride up the east coast. We had a great time and the trip was extremely cheap compared to other charters that we've been on. We booked with Jimmy using (URL HIDDEN) . The boat was big enough for 8 people and provided lots of shelter from the sun and any rain. We caught about 20 small tuna (we took 6 back to the accomodation to munch through during our week's stay), and 2 big (25lb) grouper, and the crew cooked us up a storm for lunch whilst we went for a snorkel at Racha Yai (an island further south). A really fun day out. In summary, a great experience for incredible value.

Response from Supinda:
Dear John and Chloe, Thank you so much for your kind and lovely review. About the dogs, sometimes we take them to the dog hotel, upon request, but most of the time they keep quietly to themselves and bark outsiders who are still miles away from the house. We asks guests not to allow them upstairs but our guests from China love them. They are our guardian angels because we also challenge nature a bit with our very open plan design. I personnally love the sound of the boat engins.especially when it tells me that I am back to Phuket and I don't have to get up. I agree that it does take some getting use to.too.After 3-4 days I don't hear it anymore. I will do anything for my guests but this is really slightly beyond my control ( this and the rain !) I am so happy that you and Chloe enjoyed your stay with us.You are very good vibes, We also enjoyed hearing about your fishing expedition. Very good advice for our upcoming guests. Come back again soon.! Warmest regards.Supinda.

Absolutely amazing place. You have to be cool with nature as described. I wouldn't take a girl or family member/friend that can't handle lizards, frogs, blue butterflies, or insects - because you'll see them in this beautiful tropical paradise. The house itself makes you feel like a king. It's the perfect location for feeling like you're off the grid. The short hike through the rain forest to the secluded beach is so worth it....unfortunately people have left trash behind the beach, but you won't see it when you're staring at the sea. The dogs are no problem. Don't pet them, but they bark when they see people so u feel secure. Nobody's around anyway. You may see a couple random travelers on the beach but for the most part it was just me and my guest. Spectacular views when you're just chilling on any level (this place is big). And the hospitality was incredible. Everyone was sincere and quick on communication. Nok (who doesn't speak English) was hardly seen, and yet she washed dishes, did laundry, and was available to pick up great Thai food upon request. We had a couple people available for taxiing us around to other areas and beaches. I really had a hard time leaving. Will def consider returning in the future with more people.

The house is very nice and with a very good location. We enjoyed to stay in your house and the service was perfect and very convenient to rent scooter, to organize something with you staff. I highly recommend this house if you want to be alone , in front of the beach.

Supinda, Robin and the entire house staff were outstanding. From weeks in advance we had incredible communication and transparency that made the trip much easier than we even anticipated! We requested personal chefs and airport transfers that went flawlessly to and from the property. The food was beyond outstanding. Consider this your absolute best option while in Phuket to getaway and truly enjoy what this great place has to offer. Great for families or couples alike, it's in a secluded location that will be the highlight of your trip. Thank you again for everything!

Supinda's villa is a perfect place for nature lovers. The sea view is simply breathtaking. My favourite spot is the indoor courtyard garden, my family enjoyed taking our afternoon naps there, enjoying the breeze and sea view. I'd like to thank Robin for sort out all our requests promptly. We'll certainly recommend this place to our friends!

The property is spacious and gorgeous; we arrived in the evening so it was even more magical to see it in its glory the following morning. Supinda was a beyond a fantastic host in arranging and rescheduling airport transfer since our flight got delayed, and she was always available in case we had any concerns or inquiries. James was the caretaker/property manager and he was also super friendly and courteous. The beach is a 3-minute mini hike down the property and is quite adorable and quiet. It's great for morning swims before taking a ride out to some of the bigger/more popular beaches. The property is not exactly on a main street so you will most likely need a car rental or pre-arranged taxi contacts as transportation is not as easy and readily available as expected. Supinda was extremely helpful as she gave us several taxi contacts, and we stuck with one reliable driver until we got our own car. It's a great place to stay for 6 people with 3 spacious rooms and lovely outdoor bathrooms. We enjoyed cooking late night snacks and breakfast in the lovely bottom floor kitchen/dining area. We even ended up extending a night! Highly recommended to stay here and explore the south for a few days before making your way up to see the Northern side of Phuket.

Hi I am Supinda!

Welcome to our beach house!
I discovered this beach 30 years ago when Phuket was a gentle island as near to a paradise as anyone could have imagined.I knew right away that this is the place where I wanted to build a holiday home for my 2 children. We were all living in London at the time.I am happy to say that although Phuket has changed, up to now, once you drive past the long Rawai beach, our house and our area has managed to retain most of the original near-paradise state, not too far from the idyllic tranquility of the past (keep our fingers crossed!).
When we built this house, there was no electricity and the children had to learn to take the oil lamp out to clean before sun-set everyday. We can now enjoy the best of both worlds for a while, hoping that it will be for a long time.

I am the founder of Childline Thailand Foundation which is a freephone helpline for children in distress, so the villa also served as the get-together place for Non-Government Organizations who stormed into Phuket in the aftermath of the Tsunami in 2004 when total strangers from all over the world were thrown together to help people in any way they could.
The wave did not come up to our house and nothing happened to our place. We only learned later that there is a big drop of 28 meters deep in the sea in front of our house where the water receded below. The next day my daughter and I just went out to help every one who needed help and we spent many months working with NGO's from all over the world, many of them who have become life-long friends.
My daughter lives in London with her wonderful husband and 2 lovely children. They visit me in Thailand about twice a year.
My son is a Forest Monk at Wat Pa Na Na Chat who spends his time in the forest and in Ubon. He kindly and patiently guided me towards meditation and it is now time for me to take it to another level.
I have spent many peaceful days in meditation in this house and now aspire to further my meditation in Burma at Pa-Auk Tawya Meditation Center in Mawlumyine, where people come from many countries in the world to receive formal instruction in meditation.

I hope that our villa will be able to welcome you and provide you with wonderful holidays like it did for us.
