We really love our apartment, it's very central, good for working at the exhibition square, swimming in the Rhine, enjoying a glass of whine on the sunny balcony or just laying in the hammock.
We rent our bright and quiet 2-room apartment on the top floor for people who love to travel or just working in the area. It is located very central, close to almost everything. By foot, it is a 2 minutes walk to Messeplatz (Baselworld, Art Basel), 5 minutes to the Rhine, 8 minutes to the old part of the city and 2 minutes to the next supermarket. Opportunities for shopping and access to public transport are nearby (1 minute by foot). You are able to use the WIFI or plug-in the high speed internet connection via cable.
The bedroom is furnished with a double bed 160x200, wood stove, and wardrobe. The living room features a cozy sofa bed, flat-screen TV, office table with computer, printer, and bookcase. The rooms appear by many plants and details warm and unique and can accommodate up to four people. There are shutters in all rooms to darken in the morning for a good sleep.
The kitchen offers a new gas stove with oven and a laundry machine (brand Bauknecht), plenty of storage and work space, a nice dining table and a slate shower (stone). From the kitchen you can access the sunny balcony with an amazing view. It is equipped with a small table, two chairs and if you like, a hammock. In addition, you have the opportunity to barbecue.
The toilet is in a separate room, access over the balcony as well. There is a blackboard for drawing or writing down good ideas.
Our neighbors are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. There are often other travelers around if you like to exchange.
We are present at the handover and return and if you need anything else we are available via telephone.

I'm a 25 years old stone mason, living the last couple of years in Basel. Before moving to this great city I used to travel the world, meet a lot of different people and cultures. I like to make new connections, hear stories from far away. Basel is a great place to live, lots of opportunities for the youth and families, swimming in the rhine and enjoying sunny moments outside.
