The house was built in 1921 and has the hallmarks of a beautiful period house, with beautiful hardwood floors throughout and lots of large windows creating a space with incredible light, which has been updated therefore boasts all the modern amenities required today including a large new pv solar system making it very eco-friendly. It has 5 spacious bedrooms (2 queens, 1 full, & 5 twins + 2 wooden cribs) and 3 baths. The home has a large newly remodeled eat-in kitchen with oven, dishwasher and 2 separate sinks. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything needed for cooking & entertaining, utensils, pots and pans you name it. There are french double doors which open out on to a large patio in the backyard which has a gas BBQ grill and patio furniture with seating for 8 and 2 sun loungers. The garden is completely fenced so children can play there safely without any worry about them, there is also a trampoline for the kids to enjoy. The backyard has just been updated and resembles an English country garden and has access to a private lagoon with a dock which is fun for sundowners and/or a paddle.
SPACIOUS; The house has lots of beautiful large windows making it a wonderful light home along with huge rooms. It has a large living room with a big fireplace. A library / TV room with a 52" flat screen HDTV and a Bose DVD/CD music system. There is wireless throughout the house. There is a children's play room next to the kitchen full of toys and a desk and sofa. A full bathroom is located on this floor.
On the second floor is a huge sunroom which is fantastic for curling up and reading a book in peace as well as the master bedroom with a adjoining reading room with views of San Francisco's city line, (there is a crib in there if needed). There are 2 further rooms (1 queen, 1 twin bunk beds and a crib) and a full bathroom on this floor.
In the attic there are 2 more bedrooms (1 double, 1 x 2 twin) and a full bathroom. An extra single twin bed is situated in the corridor room between them if needed. This floor is accessed by going through the sunroom so it is easy to section off this part of the house if it is not needed. The are fans and electric radiators on this floor if needed.
The heating system is a radiant heating so far less noisy and less polluting than the forced air version. There are 3 zones to the heating system 2 on the ground floor and 1 on the second floor. The boiler is located in the basement along with the washer and dryer.
You have access to the entire home and gardens but not the garage. There is a room behind the garage which you will not have access to as it is for personal belongings.
To maintain a good standard for our guests we require certain conditions to be complied with. We appreciate most will respect our property but the occasional abuse requires that we state the following conditions.
Please make sure to clean out the dryer on each use to help prevent any fires. Please no smoking indoors. No pets allowed on the property. Please don't use the fireplaces.
Standard Terms and Conditions of Temporary Holiday Accommodation:
Payment of the rental deposit constitutes the clients acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Number of Guests should not exceed the number stated on the Confirmation Notice or subsequently agreed in writing or email. Fees will apply for excess guests not agreed with the owners in advance.
Parties and Functions are strictly prohibited. The price charged is for domestic use only and not commercial. Accordingly this rate does not allow for the extra wear associated with functions in terms of cleaning, garbage removal, wear and tear, repairs etc. Use contrary to this may result in loss of your bond and/or additional payments. Excess cleaning for leaving the property dirty will be charged at a rate of $25 p/person p/hour.
Damage, Breakages, Theft and Loss are the tenants responsibility during their stay.
Departure - the property should be left in a similar state to its condition on arrival.
Disturbance to our neighbours, including excessive noise, is prohibited and may result in termination of rental and loss of deposit.
Loss - the owners take no responsibility for the tenant’s personal property.
