What is nearby?
Only a few minutes walk to the public bus stop, which will take you to Botany (One of the biggest shopping centres in Auckland), Newmarket (shopping centre) and Auckland City Centre. You can also catch the bus to Panmure train station and go into Auckland City.
Eastern Beach is located nearby from our home. It is a beautiful beach to enjoy the shallow waters. Howick Beach, Mellons Bay and Bucklands Beach are also nearby which boasts a beautiful beach with a delightful promenade and a few good restaurants with sea views. Nearby is Half Moon Bay. Here you can catch the ferry to Auckland City centre and Waiheke Island. This is a centre for boaties and boasts an excellent marina and a good place to visit.
Howick Village is a cute suburban centre, which has numerous banks, a post office, travel agents, pubs, bars, cafés and restaurants etc. and has a weekend market. A night market is also held every Saturday night in Pakuranga. Other attractions nearby are the Monterey Cinemas for all the latest movies, Howick Little Theatre and Howick Historical Village.
For the golfer there are a number of golf courses close to the area especially Musick Point Golf Course which has beautiful seaviews.
