Location

Uvita, Provincia de Puntarenas, Costa Rica

Casa Mia is located in a safe and quiet neighborhood, only 3.5 hours south of the San Jose airport. No four-wheel drive necessary. Close to everything, groceries, banks, restaurants, beaches, surf and souvenir shops, excursions, doctors, pharmacies, etc.

The town, of Uvita, Costa Rica, is situated in the South Pacific. A quaint little town with so much to offer. Pristine, unspoiled beaches with excellent year round waves for surfing, kayaking, boogie-boarding, paddle boarding, etc.

A short walk finds you at the entrance to the beaches of beautiful "Marino Ballena National Park with its's famous "Whale's Tail", a natural rock and sand formation that not only has the distinct shape of a whale's tail, but is located in the exact spot where hundreds of humpback whales come to give birth to their young each year. At certain times of the year, this provides excellent whale-watching opportunities!
