Timber House offers a great getaway for those busy and tired of city life. Come and recharge yourself at this private retreat, where attention to detail creates a unique and unforgettable experience. The Timber House was constructed for those that can appreciate simple perfection. It has its own spacious garden, a sauna and relax area, and is close to nature.

The space
The house is single-floor with a kitchen and dining area, bathroom, living room, and bedroom. It is built as a 50 sqm home from the latest in wooden house construction, cross-laminated timber (CLT), with large windows, and underfloor heating throughout the whole house.

The kitchen and dining area is modern, new, and fully equipped. The appliances available include an electric oven with an induction cooktop, microwave, refrigerator and freezer, dishwasher, bread-maker, rice cooker, kettle, and Japanese dripper pot and Italian moka pot. Included are all necessary cooking spices, utensils and dinnerware.

The bathroom features a walk-in shower, a washer-dryer as well as direct access to a secluded deck for additional clothesline drying.

The living room is ideal for reading or watching satellite television (satellite/local/Netflix) on a flat-screen TV. It has a corner lounge couch that can be converted for extra sleeping space.

Clothes and luggage can be stored in a spacious walk-in closet.

The main feature of the bedroom is a custom made Japanese-style queen size bed ( medium hard ) with bedding made of natural wrinkled cotton and a calming view of the property’s greenery.

For those that require space for work, there is a peaceful working area. The bedroom has access to a large private terrace – the perfect place to unwind after a busy day.

Free and unlimited high-speed wireless internet is available throughout the house. Wired ethernet connection is available in the living room behind the pillows .

Timber House is equipped with an AC unit with air-quality improving filters.

UPDATE :
The Timber House now has a newly-built Squirrel Hut; a private sauna with a relaxation area. Guests can unwind in the sauna all-year-round, take a shower or a relaxing bath (outside of winter season !!!) in a space that is uniquely connected to the outdoor garden.

The property is located on the south side of the city Hradec Králové in the quiet residential area " Novy Hradec Kralove ", which is atop the only hill in the city. This offers magnificent views and on a clear day the highest peaks of the country are visible.

( An observatory and state-of-the-art planetarium are only a 5 minutes stroll away. They offer night sky and solar viewings to the general public. )

The property is also close to one of the largest metropolitan forests in the country, where one can enjoy hiking, cycling or inline skating routes. Local lakes offer fresh fish for grilling. There is a 9-hole golf course with a driving range only 1.3km away.

While the peaceful outskirts is a major draw when staying here, the city center offers countless other sights and is only a bus ride away or a 8 minute ride by car.
