Level Two Studio is a recently renovated second floor studio apartment with a private outside entrance, walking distance to both the Short North Arts District and The Ohio State University! Walk to popular High St. dining and nightlife in under 10 minutes - OSU Medical Center in under 15 minutes - Columbus Convention Center in 25. Off-street parking may be available for $3/day - just ask. Studio is in a vintage building on a quiet residential street.

The space
This is a recently updated studio apartment (open doorway between the kitchen and bedroom) on the second floor of a vintage building on a quiet street, right between OSU and the popular Short North Arts District - walk to campus, shops, nightlife, and restaurants! The building was originally a single family house, like many buildings in the area - because of this, the interior walls are not soundproof and we request that noise is kept to a minimum after 9pm to respect our neighbors.

*****

The bedroom has a new queen memory foam mattress and can sleep two guests. There is a TV on a shelf in the bedroom, with a digital TV tuner (no cable, just local channels) and a Chromecast, so you can watch Netflix and stream video using your own accounts. The kitchen has basic appliances and cookware - pots, pans, plates, bowls, silverware, glasses, toaster, and coffee maker. Coffee and filters are provided. If you plan on doing a lot of cooking over a longer term stay, please let us know in advance and we'll try to get anything else you might need (salt, pepper, cooking oil, etc.).

*****

Parking: The entire Short North area is permit parking as of 2019. We may have off-street parking available for $3 per day. Let us know if you need parking, and we will tell you more about the available options.

The entry door to this unit is a second floor exterior door on the back of the house. You will need to walk into the back yard, then up the exterior metal staircase to the Level Two door.

*****

Other little things:
*This is a second-floor unit in an early 1900s house. The unit is not soundproof and it's possible that you may hear other people in the building talking or walking around. If you hear excessive noise from other people after 10pm, please let us know and we will address it with them.
*There is a door next to the bed which goes into the common part of the building (an interior staircase). You will not have access to open this door since we are finishing up some renovations in that part of the building. This door has a slider lock on the bedroom side, which we invite you to lock during your stay. Please unlock this as you are checking out.
*There is a TV in the unit with a Chromecast for signing into your own streaming accounts and few local TV channels are available through a digital tuner (no cable).
*We are long-time Columbus residents and are very happy to give you recommendations on things to do or restaurants to try, whether you are looking for a cheap & tasty taco truck or a fancy handmade cocktail!

We are licensed with the City of Columbus to operate as a short-term rental.

Where you’ll be

Columbus, Ohio, United States

This neighborhood is in the perfect location between Ohio State and the Short North. Our street and the nearby ones have some beautiful grand Victorian homes. This neighborhood draws a healthy blend of graduate students, young professionals, and families. Many of the grand Victorian homes have been split up into multiple units, like this one!
