A piece of paradise in southern France, at a vineyard with a wonderful view of the vines and the countryside. Calm and quiet, hot for june, so the pool was wonderful for the whole family. Our hosts had prepared for our son (2 yrs), and provided both bed and chair, which was very helpful. We would definitely stay here again!!!

Carine's house is wonderful; set amongst the vineyards it has a beautiful outlook and is a perfect base to explore the region. Carine and Philippe were excellent hosts and we had a fantastic time.

Carinne is a wonderful host, her and her husband gaves us a warm welcome , showed us around the house and gave us recommendations on the surrounding area. My french is very poor but carine made a big effort to speak to us in english. Carines vinyeard cottage is perfect for a family holiday. Its very spacious, and has everyting you need. We were a family of 5 and had plenty of space. Having 2 bathrooms is great as well, especially as it saves time getting ready in the morning The views are to die for, we loved having breakfast every morning in the conservatory overlooking the vinyard. Carcassone its only 7km away. And there is a little village only 5minutes drive with a a few shops. In my opinion the pictures dont do the house justice. We were very impressed. I would recommend this place 100% to anyone and i will be booking again in the future.

Before we arrived, we had some brief emails about our arrival, Carine just wanted to be sure that there was a smooth changeover. She also told us that there was no hurry to leave. The accommodation was a barn conversion done sympathetically with an outlook onto vines. It was well shaded an I expect it would be cool enough throughout the summer. It was fine for us at the end of September. We had limited interaction with Carine and her family, but she introduced herself upon arrival. When we wanted to stock our wine store, she and her husband were equally as helpful and charming. This place is at the end of a rustic track, and on a farm. It's pitch black at night. The only sounds you hear are birds animals and the occasional church bell. If you want solitude with the benefit of being close to Carcassonne....this place is perfect. I would recommend this place to anyone, with the caveat that there are steps to enter, making it difficult for any disability. I would recommend these people as helpful friendly hosts, allowing as much or little contact as you wish. If I was to return to this area, this would be the first place I would look for. Merci bien Carine. Martin, Dolly, Cathy and Magsi.

Staying at Carines and her familys place was an amazing experience! Their vinyard is symphatic place and the part were guests stay is newly renovated and cozy. There is a own terrace and swimming pool for the guests, which is really nice for the hot summer days! Carine is so nice and a great hostness. She offered us some nice breakfast and we got also the taste the wines they make, and they really were good. The kids are adorable :) The landscape is beautiful and the area peaceful, and Carcassonne is only like 15 minutes away from Roullens and it was easy to find. We would definitely recommend this place!
