If you are looking for a getaway in Sonoma that feels like a secluded sanctuary but is close to amenities, this is your place. We loved our stay at Four Sisters Farmhouse, which was a 5-day stay with adult family members from all over the U.S. The house is on a hill, surrounded by a wooded hillside, vineyards, and a small orchard/garden; there are beautiful views. The pool was absolutely wonderful--we did a lot of biking, and it was great to come back each day and cool off there. The house is well equipped for cooking, and we definitely took advantage of the bounteous garden--fresh tomatoes, basil, mint, and more. The location is great, too. A 10-minute drive to Windsor and 20 minutes to downtown Healdsburg. Very close to many wineries. Our only challenge was the lack of reliable internet, which made email and accessing the web difficult. We got around it by going to Windsor for the wifi at Starbucks. We will definitely return to Four Sisters Farmhouse if we get to visit Sonoma again. Highly recommend.

We are so glad you had a wonderful stay! Please come back again soon. We keep trying to find better internet (the satellite option we have is so slow!). I hope we can make that a better experience soon.

We stayed for the weekend with three families with kids. Beautiful property with a very well equipped kitchen (even popsicles for the kids). Lots of time in the pool - bring pool toys - and plenty of gorgeous vineyards close by. Nice outlook although you can sometimes here the road nearby. Note that there are three double bedrooms are at the top of one set of stairs and the kids room is up a different set of stairs. Was a bit tricky for the younger kids who who need to be able to come find their parents at night.

Unbelievable location. Half way between guerneville and healdsburg square. Vineyard views. The pool was warm! A great place for large group of wine enthusiasts.

The house was nice and in a private location although much closer to Forestville and Windsor. I will say it did appear well used. The hot tub was in rough shape and some of the fixtures in the house were worn out. The A/C was on its last leg and the house was hot, but whatever. Heather was easy to get a hold of although we did not receive check in details until the day of.

This house is lovely and just as described. About 15 minutes from downtown Healdsburg and close to some nice nature walks, this property is secluded but close enough to go out for a nice dinner. Be aware that cell phone reception is spotty! You may not be able to easily communicate with other guests. Overall, we had a great time and would highly recommend.

This house was perfect for my weekend group of ladies. 3 big beds and 4 twins plus very comfy couches. So beautiful and quiet. The kitchen was well stocked, we made a dinner and brunch here. Lots of parking. I recommend porter creek vineyard nearby!

I'm a food and wine lover, mom, serial entrepreneur, gardener, hiker, and freakish fan of Sonoma living. My family and I live most of the time in San Francisco, and are at the house in Sonoma as much as possible. We've owned the place for 5 years, and have rented it out that whole time. We love getting to share our love of our favorite place with others.
