This family-sized home is a great base for a trip to London. Two large living spaces, three bedrooms and a sunny garden provide plenty of room, and Central London is just a 12 minute train ride away.

The space

This family-sized Victorian home is a great base for exploring London and the surrounding area. Families will love cooking, eating and relaxing in the modern living-kitchen space. The sunny garden backs on to a historic church. There's a second large lounge, as well as three good-sized bedrooms (two doubles, one children's room with bunk beds).

You will have access to the whole property, which is at the end of a terrace of similar houses. There are no shared areas - the whole house is yours. We live here most of the time so there will be some of our things around - cookbooks, DVDs, games, herbs and spices in the kitchen etc. Of course, we'll remove all personal items, so it will still feel like your own space.

Peckham is currently the hottest neighbourhood in London, with a fast-growing range of great places to eat and drink, galleries. 5 minutes in the other direction is East Dulwich, with the main street - Lordship Lane - packed with local places to eat and shop. South London is famous for its green and open spaces, and Peckham Rye Park and Dulwich Park are close by. There is a well-equipped children's play park just 2 minutes from the house.

The transport is brilliant, with London overground and train links, and lots of buses too. East Dulwich connects to London Bridge in 12 minutes, while Peckham Rye has additional direct connections to Highbury & Islington and Clapham Junction.

We can supply a travel cot and booster seat/high chair for babies. We will supply all bedding and towels.

I couldn't recommend highly enough. This is a meticulously well kept house in a great location. It was ideal for my family stay. Alistair, the host, was very responsive and incredibly helpful throughout. Excellent all round.
