What a great spot to stay and see San Francisco at its best. A short walk down the steps and you're 5 mins walk from the 38 bus straight into town. The apartment is just right with great cooker and fridge. Comfy bed and comfy sofa to sit and watch the sun go down over the city. As one other person commented, it is noisy but you're in a city and you do get use to it very quickly. Lisa was attentive and replied to emails very promptly. It's the perfect place relax after a tough day of sight seeing. The parking is a great bonus.

Had a nice stay at Lisa's. The location is excellent as it's walkable to the Inner Richmond, Japantown, Alamo Square and more. We happened to be in town for a wedding at Muir Beach, and it only took 25-30 minutes to drive there. And there's parking! The apartment itself is clean and comfy, although there is a fair amount of street noise from cars whizzing by all night, so this place may not be ideal for light sleepers. (I had to use ear plugs.) The bed is also one of the softest I've ever slept on, so that didn't help my sleeping issues. Regardless, I can still highly recommend Lisa's place.

Lisa's home was in a very nice neighborhood and close to a lot of attractions and everything you want to get to in SF. The pictures of the place are very accurate and it is very spacious and homey (in a good way). Lisa was also a very gracious and helpful host. Her communication with us before and during the stay was excellent. One thing that should be noted is that if you are a light sleeper this might not be the place for you as there is a main street outside the bedroom which you can hear all night long. 4/5 all things considered.

Pros: Lisa’s apartment was easy to find in a residential area and a good price compared to other places. We got in by picking up our key from a lockbox, which we prefer, and were able to park our car a couple houses down. Lisa texted us the second day we were there to see if we needed anything but definitely let us have our space. The apartment is located in walking distance to a Target and Trader Joe’s which made it easy to cook at the apartment. It’s also a 30-minute walk to Golden Gate Park and about an hour walk to the Mission District, the most popular neighborhood to visit. The place was relatively clean although old and outdated. The bed was extremely soft, which can be nice depending on what you prefer. The shower had good water pressure and shampoo, conditioner, and a hairdryer are provided. The neighbor below us introduced himself and asked us not to be too loud since he has to wake up at 5:00 am for work, so keep that in mind if you stay. Cons: We visited San Francisco when there was a heat wave and there was a small fan and no A/C, which made it hard to sleep. The bed was extremely soft, which can be nice depending on what you prefer. The pots, pans, and dishes all had a film or were plain dirty. We washed everything before using it. I am not sure if they clean all the dishes before someone else stays or at least checks the dishes and pans but it was not clean. Overall, the location of the apartment was central, we were given our privacy, and there were no major issues. Although our stay was just good, because of the dirty dishes and outdated space.
