Max is a brilliant host and his house is comfortable, clean, central and quiet. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Max was a friendly host and willing to share dinners he was cooking. The room was very clean and well-appointed, the only issue being the steep stairs and lack of a handrail up to the bathroom.

Max' place feels very homey. It is located in a great neighbourhood, there are busses just around the corner and the city center is only 20 min by feet away. The check-in was super easy and Max is such a welcoming and friendly person. I was in Oxford just for a conference, so I wasn't much around but he and his friend even cooked dinner for me one evening and saved me from the conference world.

Staying at Max's place in Oxford is like living in a village. Within walking distance of the town centre and good places to eat out just around the corner. Max was kind and welcoming, we shared a few cups of tea, stories and a boardgame. And then there were the delicious blueberry pancakes for breakfast... Yes, this is what AirBnB was all about!

My stay with Max was fantastic, and certainly reflective of all previous reviews of this AirBnB advertisements. The property is incredibly clean, and Max is a very warm and welcoming host - certainly someone you can rely on for advice of what to do in Oxford. Unfortunately, I was not around much in the property to write a really in-dept review as I was in Oxford for work and spent most of my time away from the property. But during my stay I have absolutely no problem. All my needs were catered for, and Max was readily available to help with anything you needed! Thanks for a great stay, Max!

I have just taken over the bookings for my mothers ski chalet. I have been renting rooms in my house in Oxford for years now. I learnt my hospitality skills working at the chalet. I run a Meetup group that meets up and plays boardgames. When you visit I would be happy to teac…
