Originally built in 1896 as the Simon Curtis house in Lee Hall as a private home as well as the general dry goods store still visible, post office and tax office, this home is mere minutes from Colonial Williamsburg, Yorktown, and Jamestown, Busch Gardens, Water Country, and has easy interstate access to Richmond and VA Beach. This is an exquisite home of antiques and history right next to the Lee Hall Train Depot, Lee Hall Mansion, and Endview Plantation... a perfect central vacation spot!

The space
You are welcome to use the entire home including the owner’s kitchen. The commercial kitchen is for caterers. You are welcome to entertain friends. Each bedroom is themed and the home has recently been painted and furnished with antiques and some local artist original paintings. Everyone who tours says they can’t believe what we’ve done with the home. It is also a venue for weddings and special events.

Guest access
Guests have access to the entire home with exception only to a commercial kitchen. The owner’s kitchen is a full kitchen and is accessible to guests.

Other things to note
There is a mall, movie theatre , shopping centers , and restaurants, all within a 10 minute Drive. We are also within 20-25 minutes from the Mariners Museum, VA Living Museum, and the Air and Space Museum.

There is a Dollar General across the street in walking distance if you forget anything. It also has snacks and anything you may need when you don't want to drive away from the inn. Colonial Yorktown is a straight shot from the inn with shops, a bar, and restaurants, plus a beach.

My family and musical theatre are my passions. My husband and I own an event rental business and commercial property so we respect the property of others as our own. I've learned life is about making memories not accumulating stuff. We treat others as we want to be treated and do our best to communicate well and be honest in everything we do. I really enjoy raising my teenagers and traveling with them when we can actually get away from work! Now we have our own inn, the Historic Boxwood Inn located in Lee Hall VA, about 5 minutes from Williamsburg. We are now hosts and excited to meet new people and share our beautiful home and historic landmark with you!
