The apartment had 6 rooms. Now it has only three. I broke down the rest to open the space up. So as a result I have an open kitchen as I love cooking! Its one of the things I enjoy doing and love experimenting. The house is an art project by itself!
Was listed by Little Black Book as one of the top 10 places to stay in Bangalore. (URL HIDDEN)
This is a three bedroom apartment where one is the bedroom used by me and my partner, the other is a studio and the third is the guest room. I try and grow my own vegetables and lead a very organic life. I compost my own waste and hope you would be sensible to using plastic. I can give you cloth bags incase you need to go out grocery shopping. I would not like to add more plastic at home hence.
Was listed as one of the 10 best places to stay in Bangalore and the cheapest too :)
The place I live is not in the centre of the city. Its 10 km away from MG road which is about 22 minutes away. There are plenty of buses available from a bus stop which is outside the main gate of the apartment. You could use the internet while you are here and treat the place like your home. A set of keys would be given to the place.
I love to spend time with the guests. I love cooking so if we are not eating in, then there are plenty of places around that could be of interest. I respect the privacy of my guests and you are free to decide how much you wish to engage with me or the space in general and I expect the same. Having travelled a lot around India I can provide information about places. (oh I hate the lonely planet). So it would be first hand references or from friends who have travelled.
The neighbour hood has nothing great to offer other than fresh cows milk. Its quite yummy and they milk her at 6 am in the morning. The apartment is close (1.3 km away) from Kamanahalli which is bustling with a lot of restaurants and pubs and a brewery.
The bus stop is just a minute away and if I am heading to the same location I would love to drop you if needed. There is ample parking available. The airport is also close by and there is a big IT park called Manyata Tech Park near by to the house. (which is 1 km away)
This is not a fancy hotel kind of a space. I compost the kitchen waste and minimise the use of plastics and is sensitive about the usage of water. The house is kept clean and not messed around. So it would be great if you are mindful of the same :)
I am a certified coffee taster hence can blend you a unique cup. Coffee has recently entered my life and I can show you the documentary I am doing on Asia's first coffee taster. I am also a yoga teacher so days when I do my self practice you can join in.
The guest can have access to the guest room and the common spaces. The room is equipped with a bed and a study table. The kitchen can be accessed incase you wish to cook/ make coffee etc.
Interaction with guests
Any help that is needed I would be around to help you. Also since I am an artist I would prefer to have my alone time in my study to do work.

The guest room does not have an attached bathroom but the guest bathroom just outside the room is all yours during your stay period.
Valid photo ID of the guest that will be staying to be scanned through after booking and before arrival.
It would be nice to keep noise to a minimum after 11 pm.

I am an easy going person. I like growing my vegetables, love open spaces, is allergic to dust and dirt. Dreams of moving out of the city and have travelled extensively. Is a visual artist and often home becomes a project.
