If you are looking for breathtaking scenery, relaxation and good hikes, this is a real gem of a holiday getaway. We stayed as a family (2 teenagers) for 1 week in August and loved it. Cosy rooms and great communal living space. Supermarket 10 mins by car, hiking trails on your doorstep, Bergen an hour's drive. Anne Marte is a great host and we had a really great week at the cabin.

Cabin with a stunning view, far away from all the hustle and bustle of the crowded fjords. A place where you can relax and enjoy the Norwegian nature. Anne Marte and Harald are great hosts. You will get all the info you need.

Great communications from our host and it was really good to get a list of places to go, the walks around the area are wonderful. It was a little further than expected to go to Bergen (about an hour) and Voss (about 1.5 hours) than I thought (but that is my fault!) but its a great places to spend a short, peaceful break there. The meet and greet was great and the kids appreciated the waffles and the local soup so once again thank you for a good trip to the Bergen area ! Nick, Vicki and the kids

Amazing cabin in the most beautiful area near Bergen - Hardanger. Easy drive to Flåm, Odda, Voss, Bergen and all around the Hardangerfjord. The cabin is well equipped and offers a very comfortable stay with amazing views, and hiking right out the door. Anne Marte is a fantastic host - offered great tips on things to do and see, excellent communication, even a treat of coffee and waffles on arrival :-) Thank you.

We had a wonderful 4 days in Anne Marte's cabin. The cabin far surpassed our expectations and is set in beautiful scenery with plenty to do in the surrounding countryside. The cabin itself was very comfortable and beautifully designed. Anne Marte and Harald really made us feel at home and we were very well looked after having been met with a very warm welcome. We especially appreciated this as we felt that we made the best out of our time in the cabin with Anne Marte's recommendations. We had no car during our stay but this was not an issue, the transport links are excellent. I cannot recommend it highly enough and we would love to return.

Anne Marte has a talent to communicate clearly and she made us feel very welcome in her summer house and even showed us the surroundings (starting points for the hikes in the area around the cabin). Everything was clean and ready when we arrived ... the cabin is in a great location, with, indeed, a stunning view, two km uphill on a private road. Anne Marte was available during our entire stay and her replies we immediate. Very reassuring. The house was very easy to live, well equipped, even for a family of 5 for 10 days. There is a lot to discover "on the mountain" and there are many things to do in a 40 km radius, including hikes, a beach on the Hardanger fjord, a glacier, dozens of waterfalls and other panoramas along road 7 (along the fjord) etc. Greatly recommended and thumbs up for our host!
