The location of the apartment is incredibly good. The host is very nice and was open to all my questions and care. The apartment looks exactly like the pictures, I can recommend it to anyone. The only thing which had struck me was that the windows are leaking, speaks there is always a small draft in the apartment and the one the heating can not control as desired. This made the nights quite cold. But otherwise everything was really great. I enjoyed the time there very much

Response from Michael:
I was happy to host Jose for a second time at my Chelsea W. 29 St building. Jose arrives and departs on time, communicates well and is easy to get along with. I would be happy to host him again and he can have his choice of apartments. Best Wishes Jose.

The studio was cozy and is sufficient for a good location. There were a few electrical issues (I think only two of the stoves were working at the time of my stay) but the photos are accurate and Michael is quick at communicating. I'm not sure whether this is with all the apartments in the building, but the studio smelled faintly of gas for the entire duration of our stay. Nonetheless, amenities were stocked and the studio was neat and ready for us upon arrival!

I stayed here with a roommate for three months while interning in the city and the location is PERFECT. It's a 4 minute walk to Penn Station and you can get virtually anywhere from there you want to go. Also, the super is the sweetest, most helpful guy in the world. That, however was the only "ups" to the rental. We arrived only an hour earlier than what originally was planned (which Michael said was fine) but the apartment wasn't cleaned. Only one burner on the stove worked for the three months we were there, and the first time I tried to open the window, it fell out of the frame. Also, if you took more than a 5 minute shower, you'd be standing in a foot of your own filth. At one point, we woke up to a leak in the ceiling and we had water damage for a few weeks in the entrance as well. Basically, the place needs to be updated and fixed, but if you're going for a great location - book it. If you're going for a clean, working place, look else wear. Also, it is a pretty large studio for manhattan. Like I said, two grad students stayed here for 3 months and we made it work so that was a huge plus too. Michael was great too and let us stay an extra day since moving out took us a little bit. He's really lovely!

I moved to Manhattan almost right after graduating college and have since lived in almost every neighborhood. I am a member of several local organizations for more than a decade. I own properties in 3 different Manhattan neighborhoods.
I enjoy skiing, boating, billiards and tennis and have recently enjoyed a beginning in yoga. I would like to re- take up racquetball and golf which I used to play when I had more time and I love to travel.
