Ciao viaggiatori!

alcune foto nell'annuncio.

In Macchina:

A piedi:

Getting to Portovenere

•To get here by train the easiest station to arrive at is La Spezia, which is largest town in the local area. Getting from La Spezia to Portovenere there are two buses the No. 11, or, P. Porto venere is the last stop. Tickets can be bought from newspaper stalls/tobacconists, which you can find on most streets.
Portovenere – the guest house.

Leave yourself a fair bit of sunlight in order to make the ascent as in the dark it will be rather difficult.

•There is a tourist information office in the main square of Portovenere if you should have any problems

•Once you arrive in Portovenere there is still a bit of a trek ahead of you. When you face the main square, looking up Muzzerone (which is the mountain the guest house is on) you can either take a left or a right up the hill. The best way to go is RIGHT! The path on your left is a coastal path which is beautiful but is also a significantly longer walk. To be sure you take the correct path you will pass a small public toilet which charges 50 cents at the entrance of the path. Depending on the amount of luggage you have this journey will take different lengths of time with light luggage and a brisk walking pace it should only take 15-30 minutes. However with larger luggage and some types of footwear; sandals, etc. It will take longer. All you have to do is follow this path, until it forks (immediately after you pass a house on your left which has grape vines hanging over the pathway) at this fork turn left and directly above you, you will see the guest house.

•There is also a way which one can drive up.
From La Spezia go towards Portovenere
Arrived at the locality Le Grazie follow the directions
for the rock climbing gym of Mountain Muzzerone, walk across the street
until you arrive in a square to the left of the road,as a reference, you will
see the orange column for emergency calls
Walk along the pathway AV5T to Portovenere,in about 10 minutes
you will be at the refuge

Other ways of arriving to Portovenere

•Another way to get to the guest house from Genova is to take the regional train to La Spezia. This stops off in most of the Cinque Terre’s. From all the Cinque Terre’s except Corniglia, which is too small to have a port you can catch a boat to Portovenere . These boats do stop around 17:00 so be careful not to get stuck!

If you love nature, easy hiking, sea, mountains, sports like canoa /kayak or climbing or mountain bike, romantic view, wild beaches, easy life far of the traffic but close of every comfort..... maybe this is the place for you!

If you love to admire how in the past the genius of human art was able to married harmoniously with the genius of nature... you need to see the Church of Portovenere in the top of the cliff!

The position of the refuge is amazing for the view, you can see some photos.
The refuge is small but really nice, in the middle of the little mountain Muzzerone.

Cose by is a small island "Palmaria" which you can go and come back in the island from Portovenere.

If you want it's possible to have a lunch or dinner in the Rifugio Muzzerone.

We speak little english language, (we need improve our english), but for the moment it's enough for survive!
