Hi Anna - I appreciate your review and want to apologize for the inconvenience you encountered while staying at my apartment. I however would like to add a few comments, as I take great pride in providing the best services manageable and making my guests feel as comfortable as possible.
⁃It is a known fact that NYC apartments are slightly louder than regular suburban homes, heating in most NYC apartments is a common conundrum. Steam-heating is bound to create some noise. All things no apartment owner can control.
⁃I would just like to also add that the apartment was in entirety yours for 2 weeks, while you only rented a room for your stay, you had the luxury of having an entire NYC apartment on the Upper East Side for over half your stay. The last week after my parents had left, I stayed at my boyfriend’s place to give you more privacy, which you shockingly failed to mention.
⁃Since you were only renting a room and not the entire apartment, it really shouldn’t matter when or where I am or when I will be returning to MY home. If you like you can rent entire apartments but it will likely cost you 3X what you pay for a room.
I do hope you consider the positives and not only weigh on the negatives, I try my best to provide all guests with the best possible amenities that are under my control. Once again I apologize for my parents being there but I had to help them out for the 7 days that they stayed & I had even informed you the same before your arrival, which you didn’t seem to mind at the time.
