The space
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, we have taken special measure to insure that the space is thoroughly disinfected after each guest stay. Rest assured - guests will not be exposed to any unclean surfaces. This apartment has a separate entrance. It's above the garage and is bright and sunny. The balcony looks out to the back yard where you might see some wildlife. This is a great space for a couple or solo traveler. The bed consists of 3 futons stacked together on a hand-crafted full-size wooden bed frame. If you are looking for a traditional mattress, do not book this apartment!

Our neighborhood is centrally located, yet very quiet and safe. It is an older neighborhood with mostly retired people. It is not a development - rather it has a long history of families living in the same home for decades. The homes range from very tiny, to a large mansion tucked away in the woods across the street. It is this variety that makes it interesting (at least this is what we find attractive - nothing cookie-cutter about it.) It is so quiet - especially at night - that guests might think they're in the country rather than in the middle of town, even though a major road is just 1/2 block away.

We love to travel and salsa dance. We own a local restaurant and have learned a lot about customer service as a result. We may want to have our own B&B in the future, but for now hosting on airbnb is our latest adventure. We've enjoyed being guests at airbnb homes, and now we'd like to host guests. Having traveled extensively, we know what people look for when traveling, and hope to provide the same to our guests. We don't want to be in your face, but we want to be available if you need us. We want our guests to be comfortable and happy and will do what we can to make sure this happens.
