Great location
100% of recent guests gave the location a 5-star rating.
This house is a small village house inherited from our family. We have spent a lot of time renovating, it is not finished, but it is already very pleasant. In the center of a medieval village, it faces a listed church. Saurier is at the gates of the Parc des volcans d'Auvergne, located between Issoire and Besse. From the village, there are many hikes.

The space
891/5000
This house of about 100 square meters is a haven of peace with its garden, the view of the hills and the Romanesque church. In the attic, we have designed a mini dormitory for 3. This house has retained its charm. From the house, several hikes are possible. It is an old winegrower's house, that is to say that at street level there is the cellar, a staircase brings you to the living room (dining room, kitchen) which opens onto the living room. a second staircase gives you access to the bathroom and the master bedroom and a final staircase to the dormitory. Our house is simple, yet welcoming. You have access to the cellar to store your bikes ... At the front of the house, there is a very small terrace and at the back the garden. In our street cars cannot pass. At the end of this there is the river ... a corner of freshness in summer.

Where you’ll be

Saurier, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, France

Saurier, a formerly fortified village, belongs to the Pays du Dauphiné d'Auvergne. Several old residences, its baffle bridge (15th century), the Chapel of the Pic de Brionnet bear witness to this rich historical past. At the gates of the Parc des Volcans d'Auvergne, natural surroundings, hiking trails and the lively Couze Pavin fisherman's paradise complete the possibilities for discovery and relaxation. Not to mention nearby, the lakes, the Castle of Murol, the Romanesque churches or the ski resort of Super-Besse.
