IT MAY SEEM LIKE ALOT, BUT IT IS TOTALLY WORTH IT!

Our Cabin is a charming, yet humble 1960's built, three levels 1700 sqft rustic A-Frame, perched on a cliff with breath-taking ML dollar views that overlook the most sought after scenery & majestic red rock formations. The interiors possess a rustic retro vibe giving off a uniquely romantic setting, perfect for the much-needed family trip you are dreaming about!

The space
The A-Frame is a partially shared real estate piece of property, just next door to an incredible Tiny Cabin structure, also an Airbnb. The living/family room has dramatic floor to ceiling windows with large, L shaped modern sofa bed to sleep two comfortably. The floor to ceiling windows perfectly frames the majestic red rock views, only to add charm to the Sedona landscape. The beauty of the rustic wooden interiors and modern furniture combined provide a relaxing and comfortable place to create long-lasting memories for the whole family.

Please know that by all means, we are not the claiming to be or charging anywhere near the Ritz Carlton expectations or prices. The cabin was built in 1961 and we plan to remodel it in the near future, but choosing to keep it as is for now.

Guest access
The patio has furniture to lounge on, relax, or meditate.

Other things to note
Aframe Rules / Manual

PARKING: The Aframe cabin sits on a cliff with some of the most breathtaking views. There is an additional tiny structure on the property, also an Airbnb. Please park consciously and aware that the driveway is tightly shared and so are the parking spots.

To respect each other’s privacy enter the Aframe using the (a) side. Also please be mindful and try to steer clear of “their side” of the property, in order to give other guests their private space. They are instructed to do the same.

1) Welcome to the most adorable cabin in the mountains of Sedona!

We love for you to cook and take advantage of it all. However, ants and other critters love crumbs of all sorts on counters and floors. We do have a pest control service regularly scheduled; however, it is still a cabin after all.

Please sweep the kitchen floors when done, broom and dustpan are behind the fridge. Thx!

Also, keep the doors closed as much as possible, to avoid bugs and various insects from flying in. Especially during spring and summer!

2) There is no dishwasher available.
If you are cooking, all dishes and cookware have to be washed by hand in the sink and wiped dry. Unless you use paper plates ;) There is no garbage disposal installed either, so please wipe off all your food scraps in the trash before washing the plates!

3) No washer/dryer is available either.
For laundering your belongings check out ( Link is Hidden - We will send one after the booking is confirmed)

4) Hot Weather Air Instructions.

If it’s too cold inside (Usually at night time) turn swamp cooler dial to:

LOW COOL or
PUMP ONLY (Off)
Turn all portable Air Conditioner OFF (Power Button)

Note: The Heater is Gas Operated, and it is usually turned off or wholly disconnected after springtime.

If it’s too hot inside, turn swamp cooler dial to:

HIGH COOL and
Turn all portable Air Conditioner ON (Power Button)
Adjust Temps onto each unit as desired

Note: All Swamp coolers need airflow and proper ventilation to function properly and at max capacity. Leave the floor window behind the couch cracked-open to facilitate optimal operation and comfort levels.

4.1) Cold Weather Air Instructions:
If it’s too cold, turn thermostat dial in the hallway to the temperature desired.
It usually set to 65F for your arrival.

5) Flushing toilets.
Do not use any Baby wipes or flush anything other than TP down the drain! It clogs, backs up, and burns the grinder pump motor. The cabin was built below the sewer lines; therefore, a grinder pump was necessary. Be sure to hold down the flush lever until all the water in the bowl is gone.

6) All White linen is for in house use only!
Not to be taken by the creek as the red sands will permanently stain them. We have a basket filled with beach towels for you to take down there as you please.

PS - There are washcloths for makeup removal available right by the restrooms sinks!

*You are financially responsible for each ruined piece of white towels and linens ($20 each)

7) Showering:

There is a 40 gallons water heater in the house and it should be enough for the two bathrooms and fewer guests. But, if everyone ( especially in a larger party ) is trying to shower at the same time or too close to one another in time the hot water will run out.

Upstairs - Overall, showering downstairs is better. If you must shower upstairs use a beach towel to dry out the spills, but try to prevent spills by adjusting the shower curtain liner inside the bath thin.

Downstairs - Tightly turn the knobs all the way to avoid any water waste.

8) The hikes here are amazing;
Please remember to take your shoes off when walking back into the home. It makes a massive difference for our brand new carpets, especially when it rains!

9) Please do not try to adjust downstairs blinds in the living room & Kitchen!
The bedroom’s ones are ok to adjust as you please.

10) Outdoor / Indoor Fires:

NEVER ALLOWED, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES. There are constant fire bans in and around the city of Sedona, and the fines are up to $500 and or imprisonment per incident.

11) Back door needs to shut firmly, and husp needs to close tight.
It can be hard to operate and push in, and or pull out when opening or closing. Use your foot to put pressure. (We have ordered a new door!)

12) Some Lighting is battery operated so please make sure to turn it off!

13) Please refrain from rearranging or moving any of the furniture around.
