A cottage full of beautiful art work and a lot of whimsy. It is like a storybook cottage. I enjoyed my stay a lot and I hope to be able to come back because I fell in love with Yachats.

If you are going to Oregon to get away from it all, enjoy both the beach and the forest, and are looking for a place that is cozy and secluded, look no further. Jonathan's place in Yachats was better than I possibly could have hoped for. Close enough to the beach to hear the ocea…

Wow! What a very special place this is. Count yourself lucky if you can stay here! The cottage is full of wonderful art, including the hosts' lovely metal work on all the switchplates and some of the side tables, and behind the woodstove. You can walk into the forest or to the b…

Karen and I are in love with the rural Skagit Valley, where the tulips and the cedars grow. We have worked and lived there since 1999, entranced by the chorus of frogs at night, birdsong in the morning, and the eagles screeching in the cedars. But when we are seeking relaxation …
