Sag Harbor House: huge pool, near beaches, Sag Harbor and Bridge Hampton towns---Beautiful secluded private sunny, home on 2.5 fenced acres, huge natural bottom pool + diving board, nature, near ocean & bay beaches, near Sag Harbor & Bridgehampton towns. Feels like South of France—woods, sun-kissed skies, serene, quiet, cocktails on the deck, back-roads for cycling, running, & hiking. The perfect picturesque holiday for friends and families...

The space

Guests love their stay here. Say our place feels more like the South of France then the Hamptons. There’s a joke to go along with that, "if you’re blind folded and dropped at the house, without a clue, you would never guess you’re in The Hamptons”. So if you need peace, quiet, sun, nature, swimming, cocktails and good times under the sun and stars this is your spot.

The house is near Sag Harbor town, off Noyac Road and Milestone, and just a couple miles from Bridgehampton. It is also near many of the magnificently famous Hampton’s Ocean Beaches and about a mile from Long Beach Bay. Secluded bay beaches dot the coast line all along Noyac road with some of them walking and biking distance from the house. These are fun to explore and very private little beaches. There are a few stores and markets less than a mile toward Sag Harbor—Cromers Supermarket, Jimmy Jims half organic deli/ ice creamery, the best butcher in the Hamptons, Liquor / Wine Store, and some scattered little restaurant gems running along Noyac Road like The Bell and Anchor. These are all off of the beaten track and help to stay clear of the busy towns if you like.

The house itself sits hidden away on the top of a small hill on two and half acres of private property surrounded by trees, low beach shrubs, and it is flooded by sun light. The stars are some of the more magical anywhere on the planet, so you won’t want to leave and just have cocktails and grill on the deck all night. The view from the house overlooks a huge natural bottom pool app 25 x 50— 12 feet at the deep end and perfect for pro-jumps off the diving board. The pool is ensconced with lush vegetation, spring, summer, and fall, creating your own secret garden surrounded by a brick patio with lounges, umbrellas, and small tables. From the pool you see a small hill leading up to the two story split level Montauk style beach house made of cedar and surrounded by an upper deck where we hang out and eat meals, grill, read, lounge, and enjoy many a cocktail and laughs under the sun drenched days and starry night skies.

The house features a spacious sun filled living room with vaulted two story ceilings and skylights, a wood burning fireplace—there’s a massive wood pile in the yard for chilly summer nights—open kitchen complete with cooking utensils and amenities, and a dining area. On the top floor just down the hall there is a third bathroom with a shower and just beyond a bit further down the hall there is guest bedroom with a queen bed. Then there’s the large master suite with queen bed, sofa couch and sitting area, skylights, and a private bathroom and shower. Additional amenities include large glass sliders off the master suite and open kitchen and living room that lead onto the deck. The house is open and flooded with sun.

Downstairs is private from the upstairs with its own entrance and exit to the house. There’s a media room with two pull out queen size sofa beds and a large flat screen TV and full wifi for the house. Down the hallway is the second master suite with a queen size bed, sitting or reading area, and private bathroom and shower. Then there’s the laundry room.

The neighborhood is known for its private, quiet wooded back roads that are perfect for running, hiking, cycling, and long country walks. Morton wildlife preserve is nearby and great for the kids and grown-ups—you can feed the birds that land on your hand!

As you likely know if you’re reading this, The Hamptons is one of the most beautiful and coveted summer vacation getaways in the Americas. People travel from all over the world to be here for summers. It has some of the best beaches, surfing, incredible restaurants, local-farmers-markets with produce, fresh caught fish, boating, and nightlife abounds if you want that sort of thing. Cheers.

Evanly's Sag Harbor house is a gem. It's perfectly situated in the heart of the hamptons, a 10 minute (beautiful) drive to town/Main Street or the harbor/marina where you'll catch a stunning sunset. The house is perfect for a group of friends or family. The house is beautiful designed (skylights, deck, furnishings) and very comfortable with queen sized beds, pull out sofas and lots of outdoor furniture, as well. We loved that the master BR led out to the deck, as well as the living area. We laid by the spacious pool all weekend, morning to night and utilized the grill while doing so. The house had plenty of linens, pillows, bathing towels, pool towels; and, the kitchen has every pot/pan/utensil you need while cooking. Evanly was extremely accessible throughout the weekend, and checked in via text every morning to be sure everything was going great. We hope to be back on the next open weekend!

Evanly''s home is absolutely stunning set on a very beautiful and secluded block of land, which my girlfriend, friends and myself were lucky enough to stay at over the Presidents long weekend. We had planned to stay for only two nights but the thought of leaving the crackling open fire place and fresh air was to much and we extended our stay. Evanly was even lovely enough to give us a late check out which gave us one more chance to cook in the lovely well appointed kitchen and eat it on the dining table by the fire. The house itself is a great design, it has a strong connection between internal and external landscapes and naturally draws the outside in. All the rooms are large with comfortable beds, we were six there was the perfect space for that number the layout of the house has a great balance, wether you wish to chill alone or hang out you could always find the place to do it. Waking up in the master bedroom is a dream in itself, from the extremely comfortable king bed to the many glass windows that frame serene landscape of the property, you would never think that NYC was only 2 hours away. Even though it was mid winter the weather was beautiful and we took a stroll down to the Elizabeth A. Morton National Wildlife Refuge where beautifully decorated birds fly down and eat seed from your hand all set to the backdrop of the very peaceful Noyack bay On the way home we popped by the very cute local Store and Liquor store and picked up some cheese and wine and picnicked on the lawn in the yard while we got the grill warmed up for dinner on the deck. We had such a fantastic time thanks again Evanly, can't wait to come back in summer and add the pool into this already unbeatable combo :)

This was a wonderful place! We enjoyed our stay very much despite a few minor hiccups; Evanly was extremely responsive and helpful so before in our first night everything was settled beautifully. The house itself has an older generation vibe. We enjoyed the fireplace and the provided firewood. The location was perfect as it was not more than 10-15 minutes from a couple of vineyards. We would love to stay here again!

The Sag Harbor house was really amazing. We weren't able to use the pool bc of the weather, but it really is HUGE. Evanly was great to communicate with, he made sure to give us directions (down to where to find the lights since we arrived at night). There were 2 master suites which were gigantic. The 6 people in my group felt at home. The house is a little drive to the main stretch of shops, maybe 10 minutes max. I would stay here again and would make sure to come during the summer to really maximize the pool and great backyard.

We stayed at Evanly’s lovely home for 4 days, 3 nights and it was everything that we wanted it to be. The pool was definitely a highlight. It is a huge pool that is well taken care of and we spent most of the day into the evening lounging and hanging out poolside. The house was comfortable, beautiful, and peaceful with a lot of light and windows to let in a nice breeze. The location was more than perfect. Besides that it was a quiet location in the woods away from other neighbors, it was close to the quaint town of Sag Harbor as well as a short drive away from Southampton. Evanly was very quick to respond when we had any questions/issues and I would love to be a guest in his lovely home again.

We stayed at Evanly's home for four days (three nights) and had a truly lovely time. We split the house with another family -- so four adults total plus two toddlers. The house was ideal for a young family like us. My husband and I had the entire upstairs and our friends took the downstairs (so we each had two bedrooms that we could comfortably share w/the young ones). The main appeal of the house if the pool, which is truly enormous (basically the width of the house!). It would be a completely different experience if you cannot use the pool, as the house itself (though lovely) would need a little bit of updating. Evanly actually upgraded a lot of items, so the photos are actually not as great as the real thing (for example, some of the furnishings have been replaced), as has the grill, which was brand new and fantastic. The deck and pool furnitures were also quite nice. Evanly was great about responding and communicating, and all in all we really enjoyed ourselves. Just be aware that the house is partially air-conditioned (it is noted within the listing, though we didn't realize until a few days close to check-in). We were fortunate in that the mater bedroom had air con and it also wasn't terribly hot during our stay (downstairs was also quite cooler than upstairs). The location was absolutely perfect and close to a lot of things that we loved, equidistant btw Sag Harbor, Bridgehampton, and Water Mill -- there were certainly lots of options for everyone (though we mostly just grilled and stayed by the pool). It was also very thoughtful of Evanly to allow us an early check in (starts at 9am!) so we truly made the most of our first day at the house!! All in all, a fabulous experience, and I would recommend it to anybody looking for a relaxing & fun getaway in the Hamptons!

We had a lovely stay at Evanly's place! Spacious home with lots of light. Kitchen and the grill on the porch were perfect for our cooking needs. Pool was enormous! Evanly was always available to us all weekend via text and was very communicative with any issues that arose. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet, green oasis in Sag Harbor :)
