The + : Valeria was very helpful and we appreciated it a lot. The area is very calm, the garden is big and it is perfect for kids. The house is rather big with a nice dining area inside and outside. Bicycles were nice, and there were a few toys for kids. There are trees with fruits next to the house : almonds and figs in august, nice ! The - : Globally we were disappointed by the house. First it is located far from most interesting places. 30 min by car for a supermarket - that could be fine if you are in the nature with good view for example but it is not the case. Interesting places are at 45min to 1h15 by car. For a trip in bicycle, the smallest loop is 18km. The castle is an easy trip (2km away) but it is empty. Then, we thought that some of the equipments were low quality. I am sure that Valeria will improve this for the next travelers as we already discussed it.

Response from Valeria:
Sometimes it happens that guests reserve a villa/apartment without reading up on the exact position of it and on the destination they are going to visit. It seems this is the case of Matthieu (fortunately it is our first case and hopefully the last one)! The villa's position is clearly described into the adv, along with into the tourist guide for guests showing shops an tourist attractions in the neighborhood. It is also funny to read that Matthieu complains about the fact that the Castle (cultural attraction included into the UNESCO – world heritage list) is empty; it’s hard to imagine that an ancient building dated 1200 would had been furnished just because Matthieu want to visit it. Matthieu does not mention and probably ignored that the villa is positioned in the heart of the National Natural Park of Alta Murgia, which is the main attraction for guests who want to stay in our property. The awesome landscape of this natural Park, its flora and fauna are the main assets of our land and the villa is positioned right there, with also a view on the Castel which can be enjoyed from the pool side (the picture of the view is also available in the adv). It must be also observed that the nearest supermarket is 14 km far, as mentioned into the guest guide of the adv and that several tourist attractions are achievable in a ray of 30 km (Trani, Molfetta, Andria, Barletta, Minervino Murge). Therefore, we regret for the complaints of Matthieu, but next time – before booking another property – he should better read up on the destinations he wants to visit or simply asking more info to the host about the location. We are very pleased to supply our guests with all the info and details about the villa, its equipments and things to do/visit in the neighborhood before they confirm their reservation; this is also why we prefer not to apply the automatic reservation offered by Airbnb. Re to the minor issues reported by Matthieu, we will surely take count of them in order to make the stay of our guests more and more comfortable.

We were made very welcome at Chez Antoinette, the host's mother-in-law showed us around and told us all we needed. The welcome basket was very welcome indeed and had some real treats, even home-made jam. The villa is just as described and very well appointed - all new and modern/sleek. The kitchen is very well equipped and even there if a pizza oven and bbq. The garden was very large and more than enough space, we were lucky that the neighbouring villas were empty so we were completely isolated from anyone. There is good seclusion between the villas anyway, so privacy is possible. The neighbourhood is tucked away from the main road and nice and quiet. The pool was lovely if a little chilly, but it was end of September so wouldn't be that hot. Very refreshing to get into anyway. And a lovely orchard with various fruit trees to pick from. You really do need a car here, it is too far to walk, but that is not a problem at all. One can walk to the Castel Del Monte which is a must visit. Andria is a half hour drive away and offers lots of restaurants, some recommended by the host too. We recommend "Pentola Terrina" in Andria which had a lovely courtyard setting and wholesome homely food from many nations. The hosts left lots of useful information for local trips and excursions, and the bikes were good - we had a 20km cycle ride through cycle tracks which was great fun if a bit tiring as it was quite hilly. We liked our stay at Chez Antoinette very much.

We spent 10 days in this beautiful country house with our 3 kids. Valeria and Giuseppe have been very helpful providing us with everything we needed and beyond (Giuseppe's mother brought us many games for our kids). The house is neat, completely renovated and fully equipped. We enjoyed the garden and the new swimming pool as well as the bbq and pizza oven spot. The area is really worth the trip, having a car is mandatory to enjoy all its features at best. We look forward to have another opportunity to stay in this great place !

I love travels and by traveling I've learnt to choose what it's better for a traveler. Being mother of two little boys, I pay the utmost attention to the special little needs of children and their mothers.
