Caroline was very friendly and hospitable from the get go. This was my first time using abnb and she helped with all of my questions. We didn't get to meet in person because my plans changed and I arrived later than expected but I really felt like a guest in her pretty little home. She left some nice touches like a bottle of wine and a breakfast pastry. The house is located in a rural(ish) area which I love, being from the city. I walked the tree lined hilly street both mornings I was there. Even heard a rooster crowing in the distance! Had a wonderful time with my family in a great, affordable space. I would highly recommend Cute lil house!

Caroline is a wonderful host. She was there to greet us and make us feel welcome. Her directions led us right to her door. While her home is small, it is clean and cozy, convenient to downtown Gainesville, yet secluded. The restaurant and shopping guides she provided were very helpful, and provided us with a particularly unique dining experience. Caroline made herself available to us via phone throughout our stay. She is very personable. We could not have asked for a better host.

Caroline was an excellent host. She keeps spotless place, very clean and organized. The home feels very warm and welcoming. It feels like Country side but you are very close to everything. Caroline left us several items for breakfast, going beyond our expectstions. Help us with directions of places we needed to go for our grandson's graduation and Commission ceremonies. Caroline makes an excellent Hostess.

Caroline is a GREAT host. I never met her but she was in constant communication with me from when I first asked about the place, to the very end of the trip. I play in a band and we were playing a Festival near downtown. Caroline letting us crash at her place allowed us to all have a bed and plenty of space. The house is clean, she left us bagels and bananas, extra pillows and sheets, and everything we need to make our stay pleasant. This is a great place that is close enough to downtown and far enough away from the madness that can be downtown.

We had 2 guests in our party and stayed for 2 nights. We have a great experience in this little house. The home was clean and fresh and Caroline left fresh baked bread for us. We did not spend a lot of time at the home as we had a busy 2 day schedule. Overall a great experience and I would do it again.

Everything was perfect! The house was great, exactly what we needed and expected. It was quite close to downtown Gainesville and a number of stores making it very easy to get around and avoid traffic. Caroline was a great hostess and if possible, we would stay at her place again.

My boyfriend and I stayed here while we were getting our house tented. Caroline was nice enough to let us bring our cat during this time. The home was great. It was clean, comfortable, and even cuter in real life. Caroline was easy to get a hold of and prompt with responding. She also left us some yummy wine and chocolate (two of my favorite things!), which was a nice touch. The home is easy to get to and close to downtown GNV and UF. It's also close to the Hawthorne/La Chua Trail (though we didn't take advantage of that, but these are must sees if you're visiting the area). All in all, if I had to do it again, I'd without a doubt choose this place. :) Cute. Quiet. Comfortable.

Caroline User ProfileCaroline is a superhost.

I am a graduate student studying acupuncture. I just started my clinical internship so I am pretty busy - sometimes you'll see me and sometimes you won't :)

I love eating and I love traveling so when those 2 come together, it's the perfect combination!
I've lived in Florida my whole life (save for one magical winter on the island of Martha's Vineyard!!). Some of my recent favorite travel places on this continent are Montreal, CAN; DownEast Maine; Martha's Vineyard, MA; Boston, MA; Brooklyn, NY; and Savannah, GA.
As a host, I am laid-back and welcoming, while also giving you as much space and privacy as you need. I've lived in this town for a long time so can give you a great list of all the nature spots and eateries to check out while you're here.
