I came here with my family of 4 and the apartment worked well. It is a bit tight as advertised, but we had no problem fitting in there. It is so well located and such an interesting town, that we didn't spend much time in the apartment anyways. For the same reasons, we didn't use the kitchen much, but it seemed well equipped and very functional. For the price, it's good value and the location was perfect for touring around Honfleur. We had a car, and while parking is not easy right near the apartment, I easily found a free place about a 5 minute walk up the hill. Arrival and departure were no problem. We rented sheets and towels and that worked out fine. There was no toilet paper when we got there (after all shops had closed). The apartment was a bit musty smelling upon arrival, which is a bit of a turnoff, but it cleared out after a while with the windows open. Overall a agreat stay in a great place!

Thanks very much for your stay M. Schoene. It was a pleasure to have you here. Great guest. Sorry for toilet paper shortage. It is refilled now. Also, the humidity absorber has been refilled.

Our trip was organised at very short notice, but all came together well with Annette managing things very well for us. The property is in an excellent location, very close to the Vieux Bassin, and was ideal for our needs. The lounge area is small but perfectly adequate for us, as a couple. It did have an old smell, which perhaps came from the period furniture and old worn rug. However, the bedroom was fresher. It is not air-conditioned and may be a little stuffy in hot summer nights, but we left the windows open mostly. You have to do the cleaning when you leave, which is a policy for the property. You also have to provide your own towels and linen, which was easy for us since we had a car. This might be less convenient for those flying. Our booking included a cost for cleaning, but I have assumed that this will be refunded. Overall, we were happy with the property, although we could have booked the Ibis Hotel with breakfast at almost the same price. The owner, Thomas, dealt with our booking very well, considering he was on his way back home from Japan and our emails were flying back and forward. As we mentioned, Annette sorted things out on the ground, which was a huge benefit. We would recommend the property if you are looking for cheap accommodation in a great location and do not have high expectations. It is an old property and this is part of its character.

Thanks for your message. Back from Japan, we stayed in the apartment just after your stay. It is true that there was a need for more freshness on first floor. We found out that one curtain was smelly. It looked like a cat's job form previous visitors... Anyway, we cleaned it. We also repainted the room.

The place is nice, small but good layout and perfect for the entire family. (We where 4). They have TV so when we came back at night the kids where a bit at ease. The place is in the center of Honfleur and close to the bus station, can't be in a better location. So it's really good value for the price. Only remark is that there are no towels!, so we arrived all sweat (as it's summer now) and we couldn't shower until the next day when the shop were open and we found towels, that was a real pity.

The location of the appartement is perfect. Annette is so nice and delightful . She gave us all information we need for the stay. As mentioned by another guest, there is two simple beds instead of a double one. So bring two duvet covers. Saturday evening the upstairs neighbours had a party until 2 or 3am ... Bring Earplugs in case...
