Where you’ll be

Blenheim, Marlborough, New Zealand

Our place is surrounded by vineyard and is close to many world known wineries. John and I have been in the industry and have lots of local knowledge to help you make the most of your stay in our wonderful province. I, Jo, am often asked to be a hostess on tour buses informing tourists of all things Marlborough so feel I have much to offer in helping you with your visit.
Things to remember when you are planning a trip to our wonderful province
February. Wine and Food Festival
March Havelock Mussel and Seafood Festival
March. Whitehaven GrapeRide. ( formerly Forrest Wines GrapeRide)
Easter Yealands Classic Fighters Airshow at Omaka ( This event is every two years)
May. Saint Clair Vineyard Half Marathon
November Rapaura Springs Garden Show.

There are two lovely 3-4 hour walks in Picton where you view the beautiful Marlborough Sounds. Picton is a 30 minute drive from here. We also have more local walks. If your thing is an early morning hike you can join Jo on weekday morning as it is her ritual to take a morning hike on a fine weather day or we can point you in the right direction.

During your stay

We enjoy cooking and entertaining guests, so a shared evening meal can be arranged, let’s discuss the options prior to arrival. We will , if you wish, have a glass of wine with you and share info and stories. All flexible of course. We want you to have a great visit and an enjoyable experience. Please do not hesitate to contact us before your visit as we are only too willing to help you with your planning “must do” things or “wish list “while visiting our wonderful province. I am often asked to host cruise bus tours so can help you with your decision as to how you can experience the best of Marlborough during your visit. There is so much offered.....winery visits and tastings, craft brewery, walks, public gardens or just chillaxing with shopping are only but a few things on offer. We are approximately 1 and half hours from local ski field Rainbow. We are walking distance from three very well respected wineries and a brewery which also serves wine.
