Also available: Reiki Treatments, Meditation classes OR just read, sleep, climb the treehouse or walk the labyrinth. Max 2 people.

The space
Tomah Retreat is a precious retreat on 5 lush acres in the Blue Mountains where the only thing that is farmed are vegetables with a great big dollop of love and compassion - here the animals roam free.

The Tomah Retreat has been the base for the International House of Reiki and meditation classes since 2002 and continues to be so. When it's not busy with that, it is creating a healing space for individuals, and couples who are looking to get away from a busy world. In other words - YOU.

The Tomah Retreat is also a healing home for many animals who have come from rescue backgrounds.

There are 2 more couples venues on the property RELAX and BREATHE which you can book to create an entire retreat for your friends and/or family.

Bronwen has put together a number of unique experiences that you can enjoy when you stay at the Tomah Retreat. Bronwen will specifically cater these treatments or classes to your needs.

Bookings are essential and can be made at "Tomah Retreat dot com".

You can add a weber Baby Q BBQ to your visit. Just $40 per visit to rent and includes a gas bottle.

Guest access
The gardens are shared with the guests of the other 2 venues on the property.

Ask Bronwen to tell you a little about the Living Labyrinth she built from 200 dwarf buxus plants - before you go and walk it. It's a great contemplative tool and will support your inner healing during your stay.

Head up to the Treehouse and make yourself comfortable on one of our cushions or beanbags, let the breeze tussle your hair and watch the world go by - sometimes all we need is somewhere quiet to sit and BE for a while, before heading back into the fray.

The smallest things can be healing, like swinging in a hammock chair or a hammock, snuggling up in front of the firepit, patting a cat, reading one of our many self-help books or novels, drinking tea (we have all sorts), just listening to the birds, or playing with a dog.

Other things to note
We are obviously being extra careful at this time. We have taken the precaution of increasing cleaning and disinfection, particularly of frequently touched surfaces. We're also asking that you please practice safe hygiene and remain at home if you feel unwell. Refunds can always be arranged :-). Stay well!
There is a large pond so only children who can swim (or babies who can't) are able to book into the Tomah Retreat.

Location

Mount Tomah, New South Wales, Australia

Spend an hour or two on a lovely Local Walk out to the cliff faces at Pierces Pass off the Bells Line of Rd.

Visit the quaint Saturday Morning Markets at the Bilpin Hall. Locals come together to chat over a cuppa and sell a few nicknacks. A low key event typical of the laid back mountain vibe.

Enjoy a free Guided Walk at the Botanical Gardens, just 500 metres away. Other group activities can also be organised with the Botanical Gardens including walks with an indigenous local. Various fees apply.

Find out what fruits and nuts are seasonal and if there are any picking opportunities in the area. You pay for what you pick and this can include walnuts, apples, berries, cherries, peaches, nashies and more.

Experienced canyoners will be very excited to know that the Tomah Retreat is next door to the spectacular Claustral Canyon.

I live in the beautiful Blue Mountains with lots of animals including a pet pig and mini horses. I'm vegetarian and enjoy cooking all sorts of food.
During your stay
This is not the sort of place where, when you arrive, you have to search around for the key under the mat. Oh No!

Here at the Tomah Retreat, Bronwen Logan, your host, makes every attempt to greet you as you arrive and provide you with everything you Need to Know, introduce you to Flora the pig and her animal mates, point out the entrance to the labyrinth, let you know which fruits or nuts are in Season, and explain how to set the fire in the hearth and how to book in for an optional healing treatment or meditation class.

Bronwen, however, will not be in your face. Her own house on the property is private, but she can always be reached by text or phone and will be there in a flash if you need her.
