I have three apartments at the same address. Click on my profile to see them.

Apartment 3 is located in the middle of the old city, close to the beaches, the ancient port, shops, bars and restaurants. It has a kitchen, air conditioning, double-glazed windows.

The inconvenient thing about this apartment is that its bathroom is not accessible directly from the room or the livingroom/kitchen area, but one has to make three steps through the (semi)public hallway to get to it.

The space

Ana's Apartments are located in the heart of the medieval walled city of Dubrovnik, in an ancient stone building dating from the middle ages. The apartments are next door to the prominent Sponza palace and St. Nicholas church, which is dating back to the 11th century. Dubrovnik's main city square is located mere 50 meters away from our front door. The nearest beach is some 400 meters away, and the old port, from which boats for the island of Lokrum leave hourly, is only 100 meters far.

Guest access

Once you step out of the apartment you are in the middle of the bustling city (no cars, though), with restaurants and bars, shops and terraces. But there is no noise in the apartment; we have installed the AC and double-glazed windows.

Interaction with guests

We do not live at the same location, and therefore it may happen that we only see you at the point of your arrival. This is the reason why ask for you to tell us your hour of arrival, or to text or phone us one hour before. At the arrival we take your information (for registration with the authorities), take care of the remnant of the bill, and give you the keys. At your departure you can simply leave the key at the apartment (we will explain the details).

Ana's apartment was in the perfect location. It was a minute from the main street. Ana was very sweet and helpful. She even told us about the history of the house. The photos are accurate. We would definitely come back again. Thanks.

This apartment is a gem, amazing location inside the walls, Ana was adorable and gave us a welcome grappa that was delicious, the space is perfect and with the decoration you feel the history of the place. Thank you so much!

The apartment was wonderful. It was very well equipped and we loved being able to cook our own meals whilst in Dubrovnik. It was very cosy and Ivo's mother was lovely! Thank you!

Ivo's apartment was great! Ivo's mother, Ana, who checked us in, is super sweet. The place was very, very clean. The bed is two twin mattresses put together, so it is as big as a king size bed. The kitchen is well-equipped, although if you're looking to cook, you may need to purchase some extra condiments. The bathroom is just two short steps away from the main entrance of the apartment, but it is still very private. One downside is that the hot water in the shower would run for about 10 minutes and then would not run at all, resulting in a cold shower. The location was amazing if you're looking to explore Old Town and the surrounding areas. Accommodation in Old Town is a little pricier, but this apartment was definitely worth the extra money. Overall, we had an excellent stay - definitely recommended!

The location couldn't be better - in the centre of the Old Town, restaurants and bars right outside the door, but it was still very quiet inside the apartment. You can walk everywhere. Big comfortable bed (two singles pushed together), clean towels, good wifi. We couldn't figure out how to turn off the air con. The apartment decor is very dated and the apartment felt quite dark. There are far too many decorations in there, but that didn't bother us too much. The bathroom is a bit dingy but it was cleaned regularly. The water doesn't drain properly from the shower basin. We didn't mind that it was across the hall from our apartment - it's literally two paces away and we were given a key for it so no one else used it. We had a very good stay.

The location of the apartment is amazing. If you want to spend a lot of time in Old Town there probably isn't a better place to be. You are about as close as you could possibly want to be to everything that is going on. We never found the location of the bathroom to be a major issue, it is just outside the apartment door and honestly closer than my own bathroom from my living room at my house. However, being that it is disconnected from the main unit it isn't air conditioned so it does stay quite humid - at least during the summer while we stayed - so don't plan on your beachwear or towels drying off very quickly if left in the bathroom. Ivo and his son were very helpful with the requests that we made to them. While there was some miscommunication regarding our checkout otherwise we had a wonderful time at the apartment and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay in beautiful Dubrovnik.

We stayed 6 days in July. Wow! This place was such an amazing find! The apartment is in the perfect location. Step out the front door and you are on the "restaurant alley" with so many good spots to enjoy tasty meals. You are also a 20 second walk from the main promenade. There were several really fun bars within a 2 minutes walk. Additionally, you are a 3 minute walk from crystal clear swimming waters! The ferry to Lokrum island is right there too. The apartment itself is quite large with a living room, fully stocked kitchen, and separate bedroom. The bathroom is private and only for the apartment and right next to the door, very easy and not a problem. They have AC, TV, great wireless, and a washing machine. (No hair dryer or iron though FYI.) Anna, Ivo's mother, met us and was so incredibly kind! She even poured us grappa while we went over info. I would 100% recommend this place! My only suggestion to travelers is to bring shampoo, soap, and buy a big pack of toilet paper on your way in if staying more than a day. This place really is a gem!
