Our charming attic room is reached by an original (and rather steep) 17th century wooden spiral staircase. The guest bathroom and shower is rather a way away on the first floor.
A lovely large attic room, with adjoining playroom and futon bed,an ideal writers refuge, in a large farmhouse set in 17 acres of beautiful Dorset countryside just outside the charming village of Beaminster. Only 15 minutes drive from the stunning Jurassic coast, & the coastal town of West Bay (home of Broadchurch).
Aside from the main garden which is private, there are 17 acres of fields and woodland you're free to wander about in. We are 15 minutes from the beach and a gorgeous 50 min walk to the village, and 20 mins, through the woods and hillsides to a perfect pub.
Interaction with guests
We live on the farm and one of us will always be there to greet you and get you settled into your room
Other things to note
We do have 2 lovely, but young boys and do our best to keep them quiet in the mornings, but please be tolerant if there is a little breakfast chatter after 8am. Your children very welcome, there are plenty of toys, trampolines, tree houses and the like.
No smoking in the house, we have a dog and chickens so no pets. If guests can be aware of muddy shoes on the carpets we would be grateful!
