Living room with a sofa and a mattress. The thing in left hand side is a single mattress. You need to turn it on the floor when you sleep, and pull it back against the wall when you wake. It's not very heavy or something. The size is single, but 2 people might share it.

Great place to stay in Tokyo! Mizuho's apartment is super charming and with lots of character. Has everything you will need for a nice stay in the megacity: quiet, comfy mattress, very well communicated with Tamachi JR Station and Mita metro station, a combini just right out of the door, and also quite some restaurants and bars around Tamachi with lively nightlife. Perfect for a single traveller or a couple deeply in love :) I didn't get to meet Mizuho as she was travelling at the time, but check in and check out was no problem at all, and she was communicative over Airbnb, solving all my questions. She even recommended me a bike sharing system of the Minato ward that worked really good to move around! I wouldn't have known about it otherwise, and it was very convenient. If you have the chance to stay at her place, do not hesitate, you will enjoy it :).

Mizuho was a fantastic host right from the moment we made the booking. Any questions were promptly answered and she had some great ideas on where we should spent New Years Eve! The unit is in a great location to access all the sights in Tokyo, and while it is quite small for 2 people, it had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a very lovely and cute studio apartment and I'm glad that I had a chance to stay like a local in Mizuho's place. It is small so I would rather recommend it is perfect for a solo traveller but when you squeeze in two people might be fine too. Mizuho was very kind to explain everything to me and the communication before and during my stay when I had a question was super fast. The place is conveniently located in walking distance to public transportation JR train station Tamachi as well as a subway station Mita, you can start your sightseeing from there very easily. The Tokyo tower is actually in this neighborhood along with a nice park and also a temple so this is a plus too. There a many small shops and countless restautrants to wrap up the day. If you want to stay like a local in a real flat with character and also central you may consider this place for you.

The place was nice and cozy with enough room for two persons. Although she was out of the country during most of my stay, Ms. Sugawara was kind enough to provide needed information. The location was convenient, basically middle of Tokyo, so I was able to travel to districts like Shibuya and Asakusa within 20 min using the Tamachi (JR) /Mita (subway) stations. The walk to Tokyo tower only takes 10-13 min. There is also a large temple called Zojoji near by so I recommend taking a walk around the surroundings. One thing to note is that there is a cemetery right behind the house but it didn't bother me. I was able to meet the hostess after her return from England. We had pleasant conversations and she even took my trash out that I had been accumulating. Overall, I had a great stay and I recommend any single traveler who's staying for a short time in Tokyo to consider this house for rent!

Currently based in Tokyo, I run a small branding and copy-writing agency.

My love goes to pop music (esp. Drum'n Bass), films (not love stories...), reading good books, and working with people inspiring me as well as getting inspired by me. I used be an athlete, but I don't play sports often now.

I much care for ethical life, trying not to be a person who can only becomes happy by shopping a lots, consumming a lot, and owning a lot. I want to feel comfortable and content with a few things I love.
