We were very happy staying at the Casa del Mar. It was a small room but still provided everything we needed for our short stay. It's in a great location and you get your own parking spot. We brought our french bulldog too!

The room was clean, comfortable and as pictured. I did not meet Tobi, but she was very communicative and responsive to my questions. The two woman where we're working at Casa del mar were so sweet and helpful and went out of their way to accommodate us.

Since I got there late, they had just left the door unlocked for me. The place was just as described, but be advised it is MANY steps to the beach. But they have beach passes and chairs & towels available. And don't miss the fact that 15% is added later for taxes. The room was air conditioned, however when the a/c was running you couldn't hear the TV :) It is a little hike to the stuff on the boardwalk, so I got in plenty of exercise. The private parking was very nice. But it is a very small motel (no pool or real outdoor area), no other amenities. Overall it was as advertised, and as near as I can tell it is exactly what you get for the money, which I think was reasonable for the Shore in the summer.

Tobi and her family were awesome! They were very friendly and accommodating, and they've given their property Casa Del Mar a very warm family oriented feel. A lot of the other people staying there would come outside and sit and talk and laugh, along with Tobi and her family, and best of all, its DOG FRIENDLY! They loved our little Boston terrier and there were even a couple other dogs there for him to play with. We stayed in Room #6. It is very clean, has a queen size bed and full kitchen with coffee maker and plates and utensils. Its basically a studio apartment. The only drawback to the room is that the walls are pretty thin. We stayed memorial day weekend 2015 and they had half off beach access passes ($5 instead of the standard $10) and they were good for the duration of our stay. Just cross the street and the parking lot to the boardwalk (parking is $20 btw, so its awesome to save that money ever day by not having to park there) and you're on the beach! I would DEFINITELY consider staying there again, and I actually plan to sooner than later hopefully! I would definitely consider staying there again. P.S. If you're looking to party loudly and fist pump the night away in your suite then this is NOT the place for you.

We stayed here for two nights and it was perfect! Don't let the bait shop or motel look fool you. Inside is as beautiful as the photos. My girlfriend graduated college and she bought a ballon for her and left it hanging on our chair. It was very comforting. Staying again in the future for sure
