The village is extremely well equipped in terms of stores and services, including two grocers (the Proxi with a wonderful selection of cheeses and other delights), two butchers, two patisseries, two hairdressers and a twice weekly market. And then there's: the drug store; a bank with ATM; a specialist outlet selling honey, jams, mustards and the like; a newsagent that carries UK papers and the NY Times.

Enjoy the best of both worlds! Nestled in the wooded hills above the buzz of St Tropez, this authentic provençal village is set among vineyards that offer wine tasting and degustation dining . There's a host of activities including walking trails, mountain biking or horse riding and a Provencal bowling ground (boules) in the residence.

Communal kidney-shaped swimming pool on premises (14 x 6 m, depth 60 - 180 cm, open from mid May to end of September.) outdoor shower, terrace (150 m2), garden furniture. Towels and linen are provided. Secured reserved parking space.

I had plenty of contact with John, our host, prior to our arrival in LGF and during the stay. Everything was as listed by John regarding the apartment and LGF. This was my fifth visit to LGF but the first using John's apartment. The experience was great and enjoyed by myself and the family. John recommended a few restaurants to sample which we did and all thoroughly enjoyed their meals. All in all we had a fantastic time in LGF thoroughly enjoying John's hospitality and when we visit again I will in no doubt be contacting John for the use of the apartment. Great host, great apartment and LGF as pretty as ever !!!!

John was the perfect host. Accessible at all times and really obliging. I am reluctant to say too much simply because I'd like to keep this find a secret, but that would not be fair. I simply cannot wait to get back. Hilight of the apartment for me was my hot croissant with a coffee enjoying the fantastic view and the cool peace of the morning. Comfortable clean beds, well appointed and equipped. Great taste. The full deal. Great neighbourhood. Very quiet for a town centre location. Unbelievable in fact. The description was spot on. Fab shops and local produce in spades.

John was a very friendly and helpful host. Although he was not at the apartment at the time of our stay, he gave us instructions on how to get into the room and made our stay as comfortable as possible. The apartment is beautiful and well equiped. John even provided a welcome package for us with some food and towels and (best of all) a bottle of wine ;) We would definetly stay here again and recommend this accomodation to everybody.

We are a family of four (two kids aged 11 and 17) and we have traveled a lot using AirBnB, but John, by far, has provided us with the best experience so far. John really goes the extra mile. He took care of every possible detail in advance to ensure we had an enjoyable stay: he had prepared pool towels, mosquito repellents, various condiments, etc. He had even prepared a nice welcome gift. This way, we felt very comfortable, as if we were right at home. Even though he was (literally) on the other side of the world, he frequently checked in on us and made sure that everything was okay. The apartment is very cozy, and has a spacious balcony with a beautiful view. The pool is very clean and enjoyably quiet. His apartment is a treasure trove for any film buff -- he has a huge DVD collection, and an Apple TV with a Netflix subscription. Access to the remote-controlled parking lot was very easy and came in very handy. We wholeheartedly recommend staying at John's apartment, and we hope to be coming back soon! Thanks for everything, John!

We have stayed in the apartment of John for six nights in July 2015. Before arriving John has send us a mail with all the codes and information we needed to enter the apartment. Also telephone numbers of people on the premises that we could contact in case something was wrong. The apartment was very clean, and very well equipped (bathroom, kitchen, living room, access to internet and television etc.). Also the situation of the apartment was very good. A nice French old village very near to Saint Tropez. The whole building and pool etc. is very good maintained. People living in the apartments adjacent are very friendly. We had a slight problem with the boiler (warm and cold water) We text messaged John and Sandrine (the lady on the premises) and it was managed before the day was over. John is a very reliable host and I would recommend him to any other customer of Air BNB. We had a great time at John's apartment. Our 17 years old son was stunned with all the video's that were in the apartment and all the channels to be chosen on tv. Big plus is the extra bedroom with two beds. Overall 100 % positive and if possible we will return next year.

Hi Harry and family, it was a pleasure having you stay in my apartment. I'm not sure if I mentioned it but Netflix was also available using the apple tv with access to hundreds of movies and TV series to keep your son happy. I'm looking forward to your next visit. Best regards, John

Just got back from a week at this apartment in La Garde Freinet andwe were 100% happy with everything, the place was exactly as described and looked exactly like the photos. It was clean, relaxing and beautiful. John was a great host and very helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone and I would like to go back again in the future. The only thing I would do differently is get a sat nav, because getting used to driving in France and the place names are enough without trying to follow maps as well. Thanks for a great week. Fiona

The appartement is very well located in this very beautifull village! It has all the comfort you need and the pool is Nice and clean. In the evening you can enjoy the loungy terras, unfortunatelly there is no place to eat outside. Good starting point to visit Port-Grimaud & St.-Tropez, there are also Some nice walks starting in the village.
