This place is awesome -- it's a huge place (~12 bedrooms, each with a queen bed), with a great open layout. Super clean, great for a big group. Tucked away on it's own, but right off the main road, the location is great (just a few minutes from Glacier).

Hi Michael: Thank you for the great review for family Cabin #3! Yep, she's one big house. With 12+ bedrooms, and a sleeping capacity for up to 26-persons, this is the largest vacation rental at Mt. Baker, and it tends to work very well for weddings, family reunions, corporate retreats, ski and hiking clubs, etc. Many thanks for the respectful way in which you left the cabin upon departure. It was truly a pleasure hosting you, and we look forward to seeing you again soon :) happy trails, Dan

Great place for a large group! Very basic amenities. Not as clean as we would have liked.

Response from Mt. Baker:
Hi Shannon: Thank your for your review for Cabin #3! Situated on its own private acreage, this one-of-kind cabin is the only accommodation up here that will sleep up to 26-persons (within fire marshal guidelines), and tends to be very popular with larger groups such as hiking and skiing clubs, family reunions, weddings, and the like. While we did not hear from you at any time during your stay, we do apologize that the bathroom and kitchen areas were not as clean as you had expected, and will take this up with housekeeping. Please remember that as a rental management company, we have local staffing available to correct any reasonable deficiencies that you may encounter during your stay, and best of all, we are just a phone call away :) Happy trails, Dan

Spacious house, 12 beds/ bedrooms and at least one pull out couch. No cell service. I'd recommend bringing bug spray if staying in August, but we had a great time!

Hi Maxwell: Thank you for the great review for Cabin #3! We are glad to hear that everything worked out well for your group. With 12+ bedrooms, this grand lodge definitely works great for for most larger groups. Yep, no cell coverage (although the cabin has a land line) and no wifi (time to unplug!). Great suggestion about the bug spray. We can definitely get the flying critters during the summer months...particularly during hot weather conditions. Happy trails :) Dan

Great place for a large group. We were a group of 25 people and everyone got a bed and shared a room with one other person. The kitchen/living room area is a big open space which was perfect for us. The kitchen is large enough for multiple people to be cooking at the same time. …
