Interaction with guests
Because may not always be able to personally greet you, we've left a bottle of wine to welcome you to Las Cruces; however, we live only a few blocks away, so please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
No smoking is allowed in the house, but guests can smoke outside on the patio.
Small gatherings and parties with less than 20 guests are o.k., but please observe quiet time after 11 p.m. as we are located in a residential area.
I enjoy running daily with my dog Harley, a beautiful black lab who hates water. I grew up in the southwest and love the desert - there's nothing like the smell of the desert after it rains! Hiking the beautiful Organ mountains is one of my favorite things to do now that we live in Las Cruces.
Cooking is one of my hobbies and I love cooking New Mexican and Mexican cuisine- I make a mean roasted chile (pepper) salsa!
My husband Robert moved to Las Cruces recently and love living in New Mexico - there's so much to explore! We also like that Las Cruces feels like a small town, but with all the amenities of a bigger city. We've met some wonderful people (people in Las Cruces are so friendly!) and are enjoying "discovering" the most delicious food in town, the best wineries, breweries, festivals, theatres, music venues, galleries, hiking trails, the-not-to be-missed farmers and art crafts market, and the list goes on and on.
Come make discoveries of your own - we'd love to have you as our guests!
