The wooden ceiling has been restored to reflect the warping of the old roof, fitted with solid-wood shelves supported by heavy chestnut beams. The stone of the original load-bearing walls has been revealed and brings so much character and atmosphere to the apartment!

I love Castellabate. My mom was born here. This is the house of her family since XVI century! It is my favorite getaway place, right in the center of a beautiful medieval village facing the Mediterrenean sea. I love it... and the food! All tastes so delicious, fresh and genuine! thank goodness in Castellabate you get to climb steps everywhere, so you don’t have to worry about how to burn calories and stay fit! I don’t live here, but I come anytime I can. It takes only three and ½ hours from Rome, where I live. A wonderful lady, Adele looks after our place, keeps it clean and checks in our guests. This is a special place worth seeing. You’ll love it!:)
