This place is only about a 6 minute walk away from Juso Station of the Hankyu railway. Juso is famous for the wonderful shopping streets with a lot of excellent but reasonable restaurants. They are perfect for those who have good appetites! It is impossible to tell you what is the best, but my favorite is a wagyu barbecue restaurant. At the same time, you can also have a quiet and chilling time nearby. When I would like to have a quiet walk, I go to a shrine or the Yodogawa riverside. A onsen(hot spring) public bath is ideal place to unwind. I cannot tell you everything here. We have a special handmade guidebook here. I am sure you will get around like a local.

Hi, we are Kohei & Hisa. We have been friends since our college days at Kyoto University and we played rock music together. Recently we are business partners as well. We have come to a conclusion that the economy growth of this country will depend more and more on tourism and we should contribute to it and promote tourism which would focus on culture, natural surrounding, and local people. That is why we decided to be hosts of vacation rentals, and campaigners of the country we were born to. As a result, we have been on Airbnb since winter 2017. Both of us totally agree with Airbnb's concept. We love communicating with various people and share ideas about our work, life, and future. We are open minded and respect all the world’s diversities such as LGBT. Japan has a history of isolation of 300 years in the past, which is called Edo period between 17th and 19th centuries. This has made the people’s mind closed, unwilling to try new things. You cannot see yourself objectively without help of people different from you. Japan is one of the countries in Asia that developed economically and led the region in the 20th century. However, China, South Korea, and ASEAN countries are growing rapidly, the country should define its uniqueness to make difference. We believe that things irreplaceable are the three things mentioned above: culture, natural surrounding and local people. There have to be more and more good things in Japan about them Japanese people themselves have not realized yet. We would like you to help us find more about Japan! Now we have launched a team of open minded people, which is called “023s(onisans).” Really glad if we can keep in touch with you and be friends for our life! Looking forward to seeing you! Thanks! Host Introduction: Hisa - I studied sociology, psychology and linguistics at college. I am interested in how different people think, talk, and live. I love people and love diversities of the world. When I travel, communicating with local people, and blending in local life will come first, before food, or shopping. I like unexpectedness. I used to teach English language at high school as a teacher. My favorites: Activities for nurturing my mind: traveling, meditation and so on Punk music - Hi-standard, Pop culture such as JoJo's bizzare adventure, Hunter×Hunter, LoveLive!! Wonderful food such as curry, ramen When you come to our house, we will help you love Japan! Kohei - I was born in Osaka same as Hisa, and studied law and politics at Kyoto university. Now I am having a good time seeing many wonderful people from various countries. My English is not fluent very much, however I will do my best so that those who will stay at Japan enjoy our country. I hope you will have a special time in Japan at our place!
