I wish I could give more than 5 stars! Le Bigourda is the best value I have ever gotten on any travel accomodation. Stunning grounds with views of rolling agricultural hills and woodland - large pool with plenty of sun, but shaded lawn as well - a private porch for breakfast or drinks - antique decor and flourishes fit for a fashionable home decor magazine - fresh fruit, croissants, and a proper tea st breakfast -- and I could still go on! The Wheelers are gracious and enthusiastic in their kindness. They are true hosts in every sense of the word. When we arrived, they made us feel at home, inviting us to a local night festival and introducing us to members of the town. Don't let the rural location fool you into thinking there is nothing to do here; we could not get our fill of activities and visits to villages. We have seen a bit of France between us, but Engayrac is a true treasure, and was the highlight of our two week trip!
